Hello David I apologize your experience wasn't positive with the 1ml Ralph Lauren, Lauren EDT 1995 Batch for Women you ordered. It was decanted from an official Cosmair bottle just as described. I just reviewed your orders, I can see you originally ordered a 1ml Lauren EDC, 1988 Cosmair Batch for Women. Then a month later you submitted a recent order for the 1ml 1995 EDT version since we had sold out of the EDC. I can assume you were expecting the exact fragrance as prior, when in fact they were two different bottles as listed with a different description and pictures. One was the cologne from 1988 and the other was the eau de toilette from 1995. Both the same perfume but with slight differences due to concentration as mentioned in the listing.

Not sure what the cologne is inside of this decant but one thing I can be certain of is it smells nothing like vintage cosmair Acqua Di Gio. It smells absolutely dreadful. Waste of money.

Hello Jeremy, I apologize your sample wasn't to your liking. After your comment I just checked our bottle to be sure the scent profile is still healthy and it is. As a collector of fragrance for over twenty years I've smelled numerous versions of Cosmair Acqua Di Gio. The Cosmair versions were produced until 2006 and come in a frosted bottle with silver raised lettering on the front of the bottle. My only guess is you may have smelled a different batch variation previously? There was a small reformulation after 2001 for even the Cosmair versions. The original release you had ordered, which is the 1997 batch code US342 bottle. Has a very potent note of calone that is supposed to give it a "sea salt" type of aroma. In later reformulations it was later toned down and when Luxury Products took over the manufacturing it was mostly replaced with a higher concentration of citrus notes. Regardless I apologize for your experience.
