Fees are calculated based on these valuations, but we never inflate prices to charge higher fees. Additionally, while fine wine and whiskey are long-term investments with a less liquid market compared to stocks, we do offer options for selling, and we’re continually working to improve liquidity. We strive for each customer to have a full understanding of how wine and whiskey investing works and timeline for potential returns to be realized. Both wine and whiskey are long term investments and do not produce immediate returns. It takes years for both whiskey and wine to mature and to reach their peak market value. It’s not uncommon to see nonlinear growth of the value of wine after they are originally released. Hello Kostas, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on your experience with the Vinovest platform. I am so sorry to hear it was not a fully positive experience. This is not the experience we want our clients to have. Our goal is full transparency with all investors surrounding each aspect of their wine investment, including monthly fees, shipping costs and the process to sell wines. Our platform allows for customers to list their wines at any time if they choose, this does not guarantee immediate sales. Wine takes years to mature and reach its peak market potential. We do apologize if this was not communicated thoroughly with you when you began your investment with Vinovest in 2021. Each wine is listed on markets outside of the Vinovest platform. This however does not mean we are able to control the bids a customer may receive. All wines are stored in state of the art bonded facilities. The monthly storage fees are vital to ensure the wines are continually stored in optimal conditions preserving their value until they are ready to be sold. We are continually working to improve the shipping process for interested customers and to lower the costs when possible. We apologize if there was any misunderstanding on the monthly storage fees for your wines and that there would be an additional cost to have your wines removed from their bonded warehouse and shipped to you. We have confirmed your account has been fully closed as all wines have been delivered to you and the last remaining funds also returned. Thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback.

We do apologize if your experience was not as expected and there was any misunderstanding about the shipping process and the timeline and estimated costs. Your wines are very real and we are not a scam. Each investor has the option to download their ownership certificate for each case of wine in their portfolio through their account online. This certificate will show the storage location of the wines along with other important details. We are continually working to optimize the shipping process and hopefully reduce the costs and shorten the estimated shipping time for all of our investors. Our support team will follow in an email with you again to provide the estimated quote for the shipping cost if you are still interested in taking delivery of your wines and to share your ownership certificate for your reference.
