I was originally a client of Peace River Air. I could not say enough about that company. They sold out and now we have Vince Tiscio and Brown cooling and plumbing. The tech came today for our maintenance. When the capacitor was checked, it needed to be replaced. The part was under warranty ($40 on amazon) The part took less than 15 minutes to install. The charge was $275 for less than15 minutes of labor. They get you to sign a reasonable contract and then they rape you with a preset charge. Buyer BEWARE!!!!!!!
The tech did a good job, the star was for him, though their maintenance was half of what Peace River did.
Its been 3 days now and the call I requested from management to explain this pricing has not come. I also noticed that when a customer give a bad review, the person identified as owner argues with them in the text. Pretty sad and petty.

STAY AWAY!!
Stay as far away as possible from this company! Three service calls in three days to the tune of almost $1300. When they should have found the problem which would’ve only cost us $108. They did a necessary work. I was referred to this company by my realtor in 2017 when I needed a new AC unit and they did well. Their technician always took care of us, but we always had a problem with the unit. I spoke to my realtor this evening and he said get rid of this company. It’s been sold to another owner and they are moneygrubbing. When I asked the owner that came out tonight why the problem wasn’t found the first time the technician came out. He really couldn’t answer the question, but he danced around it, saying we had two problems the capacitor and the dirty coil. The dirty coils were not the issue, yes, they were dirty, but they were not filthy. Stay as far away from this company as you possibly can they have gotten the last dime out of me.
UPDATE TO YOUR RESPONSE:
You were at my house three times within five days. Yes the coil was dirty, like most coils get in the state of Florida. But not dirty to the point where it had to be cleaned. However, I let you clean it. Within a day and a half the AC was not working again. This time you came out and found the culprit which should have been found the first trip out to my house which would have saved me a great deal of money. You are only in this to make a buck. This system is not even six years old yet and we have had nothing but problems with it from the time it was put in. Our financial problems, if any, do not need to be displayed by your company on a public website. That is slander. Be very careful with that. My only financial distress at this point is having to pay you upwards of over $1100 for 100 and something dollar part that should’ve been diagnosed the first time. You were at my house three times within five days. This is bad business and I am certain that Vince would not have let this happen. Enjoy the money you got for me because this is the last time you will ever get from us.

We first came to your home last March and found a very dirty blower wheel and evaporator coil due to lack of filter maintenance and having several dogs, some that like to lay right under the units return air opening on the floor. Only the blower pull & clean fit into your budget, so that's all you had us do. Last week (14 months later) we came out to a No Cool call, your unit was blowing cool air but you had mentioned that the unit hadn't worked well since the last time we were there. You had only done half of our recommendation last year, so that was understandable. You agreed to have the coil pulled and cleaned last week (after showing you photo of your dirty coil), which we did, on the spot- taking a few hours. You called back yesterday because you said it wasn't cooling again. We arrived within a few hours to find that a part had failed in the outside unit, something completely unrelated to any of the work we had done in the past. We waived the diagnostic fee (-$102), gave you a warranty repair discount when you didn't even have a warranty(-$81), and discounted another part for the repair(-$40). We did all we could for you, including a $223 discount on May 8th. We understand you're having financial difficulties, we can't repair units without payment, but we did offer to wait 30 to 60 days for payment as a courtesy. We pulled and cleaned the evaporator coil last week, which you admitted was dirty (we have photos), we couldn't give you a refund for that, which you didn't ask for at the time. You continually blamed the dirty coils etc. on an unrelated part that failed a week later on the outdoor unit, no where near where we had been working previously. We explained it many times, and wish you could understand that what you're saying is literally impossible. Thanks for the review.
