don't get me wrong, i like the system. I think it is stylish and not too hard to install. the problem always seems to be in the material. not enough of these, didn't get all the right parts or something is missing. so far i have tried to assemble 2 different railing systems on one project and have never had all that i needed to complete the task. when i have contacted you for additional parts i don't get what i asked for and continue to wait.

I have spent almost 21,000 dollars; $17000 dollars on the stairs themselves and then an additional 4,000 dollars installing and trying to modify my stairs to bring them to code. It can’t be done. I could move into my house and get C of O, but for my stairs. This is the only item holding me up. Viewrail acknowledges they screwed up my design, but they will not manufacture new stairs until I sign a new contract waiving all damages against them (I guess they don’t understand how abide by our first contract). Furthermore it will take them an additional 7 weeks from today......if I sign their new contract! I am going to have to go with a separate local company just to move into my house in a timely manner. They were over a month late in shipping my original stairs even though they happily took my money to lock in the earlier shipping date, only not to meet that date. Then when the stairs arrived they did not meet building code. Once their design/sales team is done with you; you will be hard pressed to get this business to respond to you again.

the delivery has not happened 10 days after shipping email and 20 days after payment.. get daily emails from UPS promising next day but nothing I find it hard to blame UPS as this has never happened before..several orders since have been delivered. there is a problem with view rail and shipping beware

Probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced, the product is nice but the carrier lost the entire handrail and cable system. After multiple calls to customer service they could still not find it and gave excuse after excuse for not being able to do so. After 10 days I was able to locate it 200 miles away in a warehouse to which I had to drive to pick it up. Customer service never followed up with us to see if it had been located or received on our end. If customer service is important to you, do not work with this company.

We were short numerous bolts and screws. Also the self tapping screws, did not tap a thing. This is unacceptable and put us and our company in an un-needed time constraint due to your inability to supply what we paid for. I expect a conversation with the company.
