Project ended up looking great. Had issues with some of the hardware. Some parts were not manufactured correctly. The blind hole hardware is not easy to get centered in the post holes and therefore does not look as good as the rest of the hardware.

Once the install was complete it looked good, but there is one very big issue that needs Viewrails attention. There is a threaded inert at the top of each post and that is where the top rail bracket is attached. Every one of my posts had threaded inserts that were loaded with powder coating material that was left behind. Beware that the bolts will become seized if you attempt to thread them into the crud that was left behind from the powder coating process. Do yourself a favor and buy a 1/4 - 20 tap and clean the threads before installing the allen head bolts. Better yet maybe Viewrail could do that and save there customers some frustration...

I have your stainless railing in south Florida on the inter coastal and it is rusting. I have waxed 3 times in 9 months having it up. Not worth the money

We had an expansive project and had a question during the installation. After calling, emailing, and using their website interface, we never heard from them. In the end, we figured it out and the system does look nice, but I'd recommend working with a company that has both quality product AND care in service.

Although the instruction manual was very thorough and neat, it lacked a some details. For instance when to use the adhesive sleeve vs the steel insert sleeve. I wish the posts would have been marked or stamped so that they could easily be identified on the plans. The included parts do not allow for making any mistakes as they only send you exactly the amount of crimp fittings, sleeves, and almost exactly the amount cable needed. We needed 66 crimps for our job and that's exactly how many we got. One cable was crimped before running the sleeves between the posts so we had to cut it and improvise. The quality of the railing is top notch and so was the customer service.
