Viewrail makes excellent products. I am proud of the stairs and railings I've installed in two homes. Now that I've worked with them I'm sure the process will be much more streamlined the next time I order. I did have some communication problems with ordering and designing a floating interior stair. I had to deal with a number of different people to complete my order and, unfortunately, the scheduling was screwed up as a result. Make sure you have touched base with everyone you need to about every aspect, especially payment. Even though they had my credit card info and my authorization, they were still waiting for authorization of a final payment before beginning work on the final phase. I didn't get the message from them that this was happening. I actually moved into the house without a stair! Once the parts were delivered, the technical staff worked very well with us to make sure everything was installed properly — talking on the phone, sending demonstration videos and extra fasteners as needed.

I'm quite pleased with my purchase of a railing system from Viewrail. The attention to detail was quite impressive. When you purchase the system they make sure you have everything you need to complete the job to include detailed installation instructions. The only suggestion I'd like to make is to better detail the key hole hardware installation requirements for corner posts. My instructions didn't discuss the requirements and I realized after I had already installed two of the cable runs that I needed to add the hardware specific to the keyholes. Other than that I was very pleased with my purchase and highly recommend Viewrail.

My quote was perfect with all of the correct parts necessary to complete the installation. The install went smoothly because the system is very well thought out, and it looks great.

My review is for the cable rail. I had been in business for 35yrs + and had dealt with many company's personnel and products. I have never been more pleased with dealing with the sales force and using their products as I was with Stair Supplies. View Rail is cleverly designed, was extremely well packaged with exceptional instructions written and illustrated by someone with the command of the English language! I would highly recommend
