Weird experience - Weird Salespeople - Just Walked Away
Weird experience! Weird sales people. I put a request out on UW for a video editor, for a reel. They reached out to me and offered to provide one sample video for $12 - so I was like awesome. I sent him an offer to start the work - the salesperson Joe then sends me a message saying - we don't provide free work. What the actual h-e-double hockey sticks. I actually really loved their editing style too, but straight up weird behavior is sending me elsewhere.

Hi Dee, You're absolutely right, and I apologize for the confusion. The rep clearly offered $12 per video, you accepted that offer exactly as presented, and then he responded as if you'd asked for free work. That makes no sense, and I completely understand your frustration. This person is no longer with our team. This wasn't a miscommunication—it was just poor handling on his part, and it shouldn't have happened. If you're open to it, I'd love to make this right and personally ensure you get the experience we should have delivered from the start.
