Teresa was very helpful and kind
Teresa was very helpful and kind. I was worried I wouldn’t receive the kit in time since I’m 38 weeks pregnant and she was able to assist me in having it expedited for a fee.

Outstanding service from Teresa Falcone! Very helpful, polite and knowledgeable. Made everything stress-free and took the time to explain every step clearly. Thank you!

Do not waste your time, money and hopes on ViaCord. As per the other reviews, they just want your money, prey on your fears with incorrect information on what storing cord blood can do for your family, and will be rude and difficult when you want to terminate storage. You're going to waste thousands of dollars. Just don't do it. If you must store cord blood, find a better option than this company.

I had similar experiences...customer service not helpful and hound you for a payment each year. This year, the bill came out two days ago per the representative on the phone and I received an email yesterday that my account was past due. I haven't received the statement yet but already they are claiming the account is past due....really?! I also seem to have been registered via their customer portal but can't reset the password. No email is arriving to change the password. And I can't log on. This was a problem in June 2023 per another reviewer and is still a problem in December 2023. There are a lot of red flags here.

Only a customer until they have your money. They billed me early for my yearly storage without notifying me. They sent the receipt the day I sent them an email - days after the actual debit. I’m waiting for an emailed response from customer service.

Pay attention to how polarized the reviews are. Once you're signed up for this service, everything goes to hell in a hand basket. No one at ViaCord really gives a rip about you or helping you. As long as they're getting your money, that's all they care about. We signed up for their service twenty some years ago when our daughter was born. I don't remember anything about what we signed up for other than they froze and stored the blood from the umbilical cord. Having future access to the stem cells in it seemed like a good idea at the time. Apparently, it's been long enough that they now charge a yearly fee to continue storing the cord blood. It's was no surprise that whatever credit card information we supplied twenty years ago is no longer valid. They now give you the ability to set up an online account to manage things. Once you set the account up, you get sent a verification email. Perfectly reasonable except they can't seem to send one to me. Called the 800 number on their bill (finance department) and they tried resending the email. Didn't work so said they would have customer service contact me. Customer service called and tried sending the email as well. Apparently, our account was created before some change to their system and about one in four such accounts has a problem getting their verification email. Told me that they would open a ticket with their IT department. A couple of days later after hearing nothing, I called back. Told IT hadn't responded yet and made no effort to follow up with IT. Did promise to have billing department call me since my due date is soon. Billing never called. Now that it's been a week with nothing fixed, called 800 number again and gave them current credit card information and they immediately charged my account. Clearly didn't care at all about the problem I was having with ViaCrap. It's not like I can switch to a competitor at this point. Once they have the cord blood, you're stuck. If you're expecting, congratulations but if anyone with the hospital or your OB-GYN gives you information about ViaCord, ask them why they are recommending what is clearly a two-bit operation.
