Hi again Alex,
If your contact person is Tobias it is for a different website than Vertex-consulting-group.com. We have had tremendous issues with people signing up to their service & confusing it with ours. We know they point people towards our website every now & then which we are doing our utmost best to fix. Again, if you received an email from anyone other than [email protected] or [email protected], it's not us. I repeat, it's not us. It's for a different website. Please reach us directly through [email protected] in case you have any questions.
We are so sorry about this. It isn't fair either to you or us that another company pretends to be vertex-consulting-group.com. We're taking legal measurements to get this resolved as soon as possible.

Scam. Fake Streams, Spotify strike, money stolen.
*edit, in response to reply.
Now edited their reply to say they don't have someone called Tobias working there "any longer". He was when I made the transaction, as this happened in September. To claim you don't have anyone there called Tobias is such a brazen call. You have testimonials thanking him on your website for starters, but a simple Google search of 'Tobias' and 'Vertex' shows that he founded the company and it was originally called 'Tobias Strom Project'. Not the same business but same guy ran both companies. You have bogus magazine articles about your company that mentions his name. Still at this moment you have reviews on your home page thanking him. To play stupid about this is next level.
Seeing as the payment link I used for the subscription was sent to me from an email address from your domain I dont see how that could be. Not once have you offered anything that remotely resembles an apology or any kind of sympathy even though you seem to be trying to claim some rogue company director you have never heard of is scamming people.
So either you're blatantly lying or the owner of your company is secretly diverting business away and pretending to be Vertex, charging people the same amount and providing the same service but through fake streams.
I'll let the reader decide which one they think it is.
I have screenshots to back up everything I've said, you've seen them, trustpilot has seen them and if this review is still here and being read then that means your attempts to claim it wasn't you guys and your attempts to have this review removed have failed.
If you're really concerned about this review then just give me back the money you stole.
------------
After making some enquiries with them at some point I was contacted with an offer of a $9 ad campaign. Thought I'd try it, paid the money and 3 days later they tried to take $200 from my account. They contacted me saying because I didn't cancel the trial in the 3 days it automatically rolls over to the $200 month long campaign.
This was not communicated at all, and I should have told them to stick it then and there but stupidly I thought about it for a couple days, an ad campaign is something I've wanted to do for a while so I thought YOLO, said alright Tobias let's do a month, paid my money, excitedly checked the stats every day and nothing happened for weeks. Then all at once I had 25k streams appear.. on the wrong track. To their credit I let them know straight away and they apologised and fixed it. Same deal, was about a week later and then 25k streams appear all at once.
Definately didn't feel like an ad campaign, so I thought yeah I'm not going with these guys again. About a week later I get an email from Tobias, saying that my next payment has bounced and to let him know when the money is in the account. A few days later my real estate agent emails me, my rent has bounced. What? I check my account, Vertex has taken $200 from my account. I contacted them straight away, said I never said you could take the money, I really need it as it was for my rent, please refund me. Tobias informed me that the money has already been spent on the campaign and a refund is not an option. I begged him for the money but he flat out refused because apparently I had signed up to an ongoing $200 a month deal, and I need to cancel the 'subscription'. This was not communicated in my conversations with them, but apparently on the website in the fine print it is.
That's not even the point of my review. This was in November, since begging for my money back I haven't even received the service I paid for. No streams I can attribute to them since my payment, and only a couple thousand in total, far short of the 25k guaranteed streams. Although they state "money back guarantee" on their website this is also false, they do not do refunds of any kind.
But that's still not even the point of my review because yesterday I signed in to my distributer only to learn that I have received a strike for fake streams. So even though Tobias is updating me (when I asked) on the click through rate of my ads it was nothing but a scam with fake streams from bots and they stole $200 from my account. Yes it was stolen because I never received anything for it.
I cannot stress this enough.. Do not use these guys.

Hi Cydonian Music,
We don't have anyone named Tobias working with us anylonger hence why we've sent you an email to clear up the confusion.
Tobias Strom Projects is a jewelry brand.. Has absolutely nothing to do with us. Hope to hear from you soon.

Attempted theft...
Was offered an advertising service where, for 9 dollars, I would have my song advertised to the extent that I would get 10k listens on Spotify.
Sounded too good to be true, but thought I would give it a try.
Website seems legit, their video explaining what they do seemed good, the communication via email was great - and then last night they used my card details again to try to take nearly 200 dollars from my bank account.
Thankfully I used a card that I don't keep money in, just in case they were dodgy, so the payment was declined.
So I suppose it wasn't theft, it was attempted theft.
Currently looking into how I can file a criminal report against them...

Edit: As you can see from their reply, they’re saying I paid for a “trial” and that the next payment was meant to happen. Yet the next payment came 3 days after my “trial” payment, and literally nothing had happened in those 3 days. So what exactly did I trial? And no, as I can prove from the emails, no one told me there would be a second payment, and especially not one as large as nearly 200 dollars.
Either this is a scam, or you need to fire the staff member I was communicating with.
Response from Vertex Consulting GroupAug 31, 2023
Hi Jason,
We're not quite understanding the issue since you enrolled in a trial, never cancelled where it automatically went to a regular campaign afterwards. As in any other subscription based service.
Everything regarding the transition from trial to a regular campaign is described in detail under our Terms & Considtions / Terms Of Use, which you can find on the website. It is mentioned on the actual price points on the website as well.
We're sorry about the confusion & hope you realize that theft is out of the equation. On the contrary, the trial gives many artists & creators the option of testing out the service prior to paying full price.
*Edit*
Yes, it’s industry standard if a trial isn’t cancelled that it transitions into a campaign. If there were no results in your trial & you were billed anyways, that’s a mistake that would have been refunded regardless but upright calling a subscription service a scam for billing an un-cancelled trial is a bit of an accusation. The trial structure is utilized by some of the largest corporations in the world such as Netflix as well as Spotify & is great for people to test out a firm prior to paying the full price.
If there’s anything you’d like to discuss more deeply we’re always available at: [email protected]
Would love to hear more detailed what exactly went wrong.

Pathetic
Alice just responded to my review on here saying they "can't find me in their system" meanwhile I have sent Trustpilot screenshots of my messages and invoice from them proving I have worked with them. Trustpilot has verified my review.
It is ridiculous that VERTEX Consulting Group is now trying to gaslight people who have made a negative review and claim they aren't in their system and that they tried to reach out to them to fix the issue.
No. My Spotify profile was flagged for the fake promotion they were doing for my song. Everything they do is fake streams, do NOT trust them or give them any money. I want other hardworking artists to be warned so that VERTEX Consulting Group is shut down. They should not be in operation.
Hey Alice, when you respond to this review... are you actually going to reach out to me? Then I can send you our screenshots of the messages I had via instagram and email and the invoice from your company, proving you are lying. I will wait for your email if you do!

Hi again 'Mm',
We still haven't heard back from you nor seen any proof of you working with Vertex Consulting Group in the past. Please reach back out so we can determine whether you were working with Vertex or another firm. Would love to correct a mistake if we made one.

Vertex Consulting Group has given 104.000 fraudulent streams so far - documented numbers by The Orchard from Spotify
I am the Norwegian artist Queen of Sol, I have been working with Vertex Consulting Group since September 3rd 2021. I recently had to send them over 15 mails regarding their Spotify management ad work. On February 15th, I discovered via ''The Orchard'' (Distributor) that all of Vertex Consulting Group's streams have been registered fraudulent by Spotify. That means every single stream that Vertex Consulting Group has given me so far, 104.000 streams in September, Oktober, November have been fraudulent.
I have sent emails to Vertex Consulting Group (representative Sophia Tzannis) every day this week, to try and make them take responsibility, because there are clear fraud signs, most likely they/he/she are using click farms. If they didn't do this, Spotify wouldn't have registered everything from Vertex Consulting Group as fraudulent. They are not interested in sorting this out, even after five days with documentation and constant emails coming from me to resolve this serious matter: The Orchard ''Accounting - Channel'' stating ‘’104.000 fraudulent streams’’. Today, February 19th, I had to say enough is enough, so my last email contained warnings to Vertex Consulting Group to take responsibility and refund the payment and uphold their contract. They did not deliver the amount of streams within the time frame that was agreed upon in the contract, and the streams because of it’s fraudulence did not produce any revenue. They have received this documentation, but still they refuse to uphold their own contract. In their last email tonight they threatened me with lawyers. So now I take action by speaking out to all of you who are potential victims!
My message to all of you is to check with your distributor, log in to your account, check your accounting, you should definitely take a look at your streams (real and fraudulent). If there is anyone else out there who has experienced what I have, you should speak up, make your voice heard, contact your representative in Vertex Consulting Group, but do not trust their words when they tell you that they provide organic streams. You should check your accounting details, and look for revenue and streams details directly from your Distributor.
I have contacted Vertex Consulting Group many times about my suspicions, and I’ve been served so many lies, I have been deceived. I do not want that for anybody else! I have checked other artists that they provide ‘’services’’ for, amongst them Kyle Gee and Maya Azucena. Isn’t it alarming that they have Buffalo, Dallas, Chicago, Frankfurt am Main, New York City - the exact same cities as me? Even though I make completely different music, meaning Nordic Music.
I raised my concerns back in October 4th 2021, but Sophia reassured me that this is how ads work, and their weekly re-targeting of ads will then cause a spike in the numbers. How could I know any better, when I was such a fresh artist? I started making music in 2021, and I was all alone. I was told by Vertex Consulting Group that was the way ads worked, but now after talking with my distributor and seeing the real accounting numbers, I know better. I have nothing else to say than I was a fool for believing Vertex Consulting Group, but no more. I hope this is the same for you, whoever you are. Invest your money in real streams and real people, not Vertex Consulting Group and its fraudulent ways. Spotify offers e.g. Ad Studio. Sharing your music takes time, it is easy to feel desperate, but don’t be fooled by ‘’too good to be true’’ offers, because they really are too good to be true!
This is a direct quote from Spotify in this matter, since I have contacted them this week to tell them what is going on: ‘’Services that offer to guarantee streams or followers in return for money should not be used, and may result in content being removed from Spotify.’’
Stay awake and be alarmed, do not trust anyone from Vertex Consulting Group, they are a fraudulent company and sadly they provide fraudulent streams through click farms or bots. This is solely based on my experience from the time span of September 3rd 2021 up until February 18th 2022, and my consistent emails and questions along the way, these past couple of days have been beyond tough. I have not been met with humility and responsibility. Vertex Consulting Group has not wanted to resolve this serious matter.
I leave you with this: Stay strong, be brave, keep pushing to get your music heard, but do not take the ‘’magic wand’’ Vertex Consulting Group is trying to tempt you with, they most likely cooperate with click farms, or at least do something bad/wrong, since Spotify has picked up on only fraudulent streams coming from them. Again, check with your distributor!
Sincerely,
Solveig Træet

Hi Andreas, we simply reached out with a possibility, nothing more, nothing less. Majority of other people get happy when they see opportunities being presented to them, however, we have flagged your review to Trustpilot since it has nothing to do with any of our services. Wish you the very best for the future.
