Our business used to use Red Gate SQL Source Control, but Red Gate is no longer going to develop that product, so we needed a replacement. And we didn't want to lose the history of the database objects. We looked around and the closest product that we could find was VersionSQL. It looked like it wouldn't be a complete substitution, but I was able to work with the company and have it add the missing database object types and make a few other changes so it became a full substitute. Quite remarkable response to our situation! Kudos to VersionSQL for quickly making the product so compatible. They did it with optional settings so depending on your needs, the user can get what they want.
