Very happy with my purchase – excellent value for money!
I received my Verlion Mods watch today - a classic Daytona based on the 6262 from 1969- and I am incredibly happy with it overall. It offers excellent value for money and the build quality gives a genuinely premium, sturdy impression. Here is my detailed breakdown of the watch: The Highlights: - Beautiful Crystal: I was initially worried about having sapphire instead of plexiglass, but the sapphire box glass is beautifully executed. The internal AR coating is a fantastic, highly appreciated touch. - Elegant Classic Design: At 38mm, the proportions are incredibly elegant and the overall case finish feels high-quality. - Easy Adjustment: The included bracelet is hands-down the easiest to adapt and size that I have ever used. Constructive Feedback: - Dial & Hand Accuracy: The dial is a lighter matte grey rather than the expected grey/champagne sunburst, and the handset isn't the historically accurate color. However, it still creates a very clean, interesting look—similar to variations Rolex has actually released in the past, especially if you include the Tudor Big Block models. - Bracelet Taper: While the bracelet is well-made, it only features a 2mm taper. Personally, I found this a bit too clunky and bold for such an elegant watch. I swapped it out for a generic, high-tapering strap, which immediately brought the perfect balance back to the piece. Final Verdict: Altogether, I really love this watch. Even with the minor dial variations and the wide bracelet taper, it is a great, high-quality combination that I am truly happy to own. Highly recommended for the price!
