VerblingReviews of verbling.com

Verbling is a very good website which provides high-quality service with excellent teachers. However, is not possible to notify and adverse event with a teacher if necessary; besides, the service of calls tries to force the classes just into the platform when that service is not the best (the connection is not always optimal to have an uninterrupted class), and last but not least, the commission for students in terms of money is not proportional to the quality of service (excessive). There are other similar websites which offer openly the possibility to use other well-known way to have the classes (S.K.Y.P.E.).

It's been great, I don't use the flashcards feature but I find that the video and audio quality had been amazing. Also it's been easy to schedule the classes. The only reason I've given it 3/5 instead of 5/5 is because of two reasons: 1) the mobile app is very glitchy, scrolling in chat trends to go out of control and I've also schedules and rescheduled a lesson due to a glitch on the mobile app. I use the app sparingly 2) its happened twice, but for some reason I've not been able to hear my instructor. This is rare cut when it happens it's a pretty big bug. All in all, verbling is a great platform to learn a language and it has served its purpose. I've gotten much more progress from the comfort of my home than before.

teachers have been good. audio visual very sporadic

Convenient service, but I came along a lot of technical issues. And it is little tricky for new users.

Very good construction of workspace and saety of booking. Still needs serious improvement when stability considered. Finding anything in the lesson section is difficult, chat takes ages to go the the older messages, overview of the website is not instinctive and it take several tries to really find sth.

The idea of such a platform as Verbling is amazing. The quality of the teachers who work there is quite high. However, the technical realization of the portal leaves much to be desired. It's very unstable. The functionality is limited. The features which are in theory excellent are realized in a questionable manner.

I love the concept and interactive qualities of Verbling and am super grateful for this platform. I have also had over 30 lessons with my Italian teacher and think she is incredible. The problem is the Internet connection. There hasn't been a single lesson where there wasn't some audio or video issue - some so significant that she had to disable the video so we could still hear each other. When she screen shares, it is especially difficult. I highly recommend Verbling for anyone wanting a convenient and effective method for learning a new language, but the technology piece may get in the way.
