I spent over 3000 dollars on an extended vehicle warranty from Allstate for a 2020 Subaru Outback. This was a 150,000 or 10 year warranty. I needed to have struts and shock work done as well as sensors put in that read tire pressure. Allstate to their credit authorized that work to be done. The 4th shock had according to the technician another 5000 miles on it so Allstate in poor judgement would not authorize the replacement of that shock even though conventional wisdom maintains that is important for the balance and safety of the car to replace all struts and shocks at one time. When I went to call them I was on hold for close to 30 minutes. This is poor customer service for a policy that cost over 3000 dollars.

Not willing to work with you. Had to get work done, parts were covered, but labor was not. They would only cover 2 hours of a 12 hour repair job and would not work at all with me or the dealership to come to some sort of agreement. I spent a lot of money on this warranty and way more money than I wanted to when I actually needed to use it. 2 stars, because they did cover the part, but that was a minor cost over the actual labor costs.

What I didn’t like was it took awhile to get approved and my car had to sit there another weekend because of payment not being sent in a timely manner. Also 100% of the repair should have been covered. I paid for premium coverage.

Allstate was great! The problem I had was with the service center at AutoLenders. In three attempts, they weren’t able to fix the problem; the car still shimmies! I hope if I take it to another place to get it fixed, Allstate can get their money back from AutoLenders!

Allstate first declined to cover the repair. I acquired a list of parts from the dealership and called Allstate to discuss. The rep and I went through the list of parts and both determined that all parts were covered under my contract. The rep then Called and authorized the payment for me. Not a huge deal but a little frustrating that I had to call and explain that the original Allstate rep had misunderstood what is covered and what is not covered under the contract.

My transmission is still doing the exact same thing it was doing when I brought the car in several times last year and then several times this year. I would say a good 7 to 8 weeks my car was in the shop this year. I was told it was because you all were taking so much time to approve. Also, I spoke with someone named Mike from Allstate and was told that I have the tire policy that would cover the rims on my car. The coating started peeling and I took it to Schumacher GMC and they said it was not covered. Then when I took it there after the 36,000 miles they said it would have been covered. Then I find out from Mike at ALLState that I have tire and rim coverage. I then took this with the transmission problems to Auto Nation Chevy this year. Now I was told that you all denied fixing my rims.

Company did not cover all things required to complete repairs properly.

I know that brakes are not covered under my plan because they are considered normal wear items. But giving consideration to what caused damaged to my brake pads and rotor I feel that because of the hub bearing failing it caused the pads and rotor to be damaged to the point of having to be replaced where before that they did not.
