Selling truck on FB Marketplace and a "buyer" wants me to order this VIC report. I will not do it and he is becoming hostile. I've been working in lending for a very long time and I've never heard of such a report. I offered the carfax report and he refused.

SCAM! Repeatedly keeps asking for this report, says he pays more than the asking price. He goes by the name Campbell Walsh on facebook.

This is a scam. You will get fake accounts on facebook interested in buying your car but are very adamant that you buy a report from this site before they come buy the car. Likely to steal your payment info,.

This company is a scam, beware. Using the likes of FB Marketplace they pretend to be interested in your vehicle, tell the seller they are very interested but before they come to see the car they want a vehicle inspection certificate (VIC) and suggest this company to obtain it, they say that once they have it they will buy the car. It is a scam and they are not genuine buyers, also they try and make out that the seller should provide the certificate to make sure no finance is outstanding or that the car has not been involved in a major collision. This should be undertaken by the buyer to make sure that this is true, unless of course you are a dealer. Avoid and tell your friends.
