Hank I.
I'd take a very intensive and deep look at this company.
I'm leaving this fair and balanced review on the company that USED to be Vector Algorithmics, however due to their treatment of clients and subsequent bad reviews, they have chosen to rebrand but make no mistake, Vector Capital is Vector Algorithmics. I really wanted this to work. It didn't. I joined Vector in March 2026. In full transparency and fair balance, I will say that my initial on boarding was a pleasant experience. Likewise, their support staff was readily willing to help in a moments notice. Unfortunately, the "good" portion of my experience ended there. To invest 10K, for me, was a major act of and in faith. The results that I was being sold did not in any way shape or form match my own experiences. My cash account was down 20% in the matter of the first couple of weeks. I adjusted parameters that should have lent to a greater success rate for their algorithms (seeking lesser target profits) but even that did not help. To stave off additional losses I got really conservative with my trade size as well. This too, was an exercise in futility and did not help me as the losses compounded and the prop firm investments and subsequent losses continued. I understand that market volatility can be a challenge. I also understand geopolitical timing may have influenced my experience from a results perspective as well. Despite losing a fair amount of cash, and continuing to blow up prop firm accounts because their Algo wasn't consistent enough to pass, I remained a positive voice in their Discord community, never spouting negativity, and trying to assist those who were struggling. Once they discovered that I was a member in another futures algorithm group, I was abruptly removed from their Discord group, along with many others. They even shared a mass email admitting that some could've been removed without doing anything wrong. Well, I was one of those people. Unfairly banished. What is really interesting is to see the current companies migration to a different form of community interaction since this event. Something that I still scratch my head over. Having learned so much more about futures trading and other communities, I firmly believe it is important to share with prospective buyers and investors that paying a massive upfront licensing fee is not necessary in my humble opinion, yet that's exactly what I did based on their sales pitch. There is a better way to do this. A monthly subscription giving you the option of termination if it doesn't work out seems like a better way to do this. I feel as though my chances of getting a refund, based on the experiences of many others who have failed to do so, is basically zero. So what do I have to show for my large act of faith and investment? Continued losses and an algorithm that was ineffective and inconsistent most of the time. The losses superseded the few wins massively leaving you in a major financial hole. Even if you won 2-3 days of a five day week, the 2-3 losses were too much to overcome. I will reiterate that I wanted this to work desperately. Evidenced by my large up front investment and show of community support. But being unfairly targeted and removed from a critical piece of their business model was a dealbreaker for me. Their contract stated that Discord was a portion of what they offered to subscribers, and without it you are not in the loop as to trade entry's and community updates and etc. What began as a decent experience ended in a horrendous experience. This is my first negative review I have ever left a company as I firmly believe, if you don't have anything nice to say, it's best not to say it at all. However, my intention here is not to ruin a name, brand, or company. It's to bring awareness to prospective clients thinking about making a major investment like this. Consider my experience before you make the same mistake. Mistakes that many of us made here with Vector Algorithmics. I likely would've taken my lumps and losses and gone quietly, but their rash decision to target people like me? It was too much of a mistake on their behalf to ignore or not speak up about. Stay away.
