Another fantastic Vaya adventure! This trip, and Colombia, exceeded our expectations. The guides, the service, and the accommodations were all wonderful. The culture and the natural beauty of Colombia were brilliant. We had highly knowledgeable guides who were enthusiastic, but also flexible to accommodate a few adjustments here and there when we wanted to add something or slow down. They seemed to enjoy sharing their history and culture with us, and were eager to help us understand the unique aspects of Colombia's nature in the various places we went. Gabrielle, our Destination Specialist, has been amazing. This trip came together at the last minute after the Antarctica trip she had prepared for us was cancelled on fairly short notice by the cruise company due to COVID restrictions. She helped us add in the Amazon and the bioluminescent phytoplankton experience in the Caribbean to our itinerary, which were things we specifically wanted to do, even though they were not part of the normal Vaya itineraries. Thanks Gabrielle for everything!

Where do I begin? Gabrielle was awesome! We had to cancel the first trip in 2020 due to Covid, so then she had to endure a whole other round of my endless questions. Each time, her response was thorough and quick - always giving me the exact information I was looking for. Mostly, Gabrielle set up a trip for our family that was so memorable, special, and amazing. Thank you for the memories we will carry with us for the rest of our lives. We hope to return to South America again someday and will definitely call on Vaya. Our trip was fantastic. The flights were all on time, the accommodations were great, activities were perfect, and the guides were wonderful - especially Wilfredo in Cusco and Sylvia in Peru.

The Galapagos Islands are astonishing; this is one of those experiences that informs and transforms one's worldview. Veronica, our guide in Quito, really knocked herself out to see to our comfort and happiness. Gabrielle Venturi is such a pleasure to work with, detail oriented, warm, attentive, terrific on follow-through.

I can’t thank Emily enough. She was easy to get ahold of and very knowledgeable and helpful along the entire way in deciding where to go and what to do. I wouldn’t hesitate to give Emily a 10/10 every time. Every single guide/person we met in Belize were so nice. I feel like the people of Belize itself set it apart because they were all so friendly and nice to us. We did not have one negative experience with a guide. They were always accommodating on what we wanted to do and very easy to talk to. The trip we had was absolutely amazing. Both Chaa creek and turtle inn were incredible and pretty easily the nicest places either of us have ever stayed on vacation. All of the excursions we did were so great as well! We got the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. I can’t think of a way the trip could have been better!

This was one of if not the best trip we’ve had. Liz did a great job understanding what we wanted to see and it all came together flawlessly. Liz was excellent. She took time to understand what we wanted to do and led us to some other wonderful things. She communicated extremely well and an appropriate number of times. The Elite was a really really great vessel. The rooms were spacious and the 16 passenger limit made the whole experience even better Luis in Quito was one of the best guides we’ve ever had. He was passionate about his country and explained the history with real clarity. Enrique on the Elite was also a tremendous guide. His knowledge of the flora and fauna was great. He took the time to explain things in a very clear manner.

A friend and I recently completed a private tour of Colombia with Vaya Adventures. Everything was wonderfully arranged and the tour company was very on top of things. Our contact at Vaya, Liz, answered all of my questions and tailored the itinerary based on our tastes and what we were interested in. We were contacted during the trip to make sure that all was going well. The local guides were top-notch, and did their upmost to make sure we saw the things that we wanted to. The hotels that we stayed in were wonderful, and consisted mostly of boutique hotels/inns. Transportation was via modern air conditioned cars. I can not say enough positive things about Vaya. I would take another trip with them tomorrow!

Our rep was so helpful, letting us know all options within our budget. We felt like she was going th extra mile to get us the best. And our stays and guides were the best!

I found VAYA and all of its staff, particularly Gabrielle to be extremely well versed in options regarding trips and to take the time to understand what it was that I wanted. I couldn't speak more highly of VAYA.
