We purchased 2 mystery boxes for our kids for Christmas this year. We are located in Australia so the shipping was a killer but the kids really really wanted them. I'm disappointed in the products provided. It feels like you've just put the stuff in the boxes that don't sell well, mostly consumable food items. You have some really fun stuff on your website but I feel you've really missed the mark on these boxes. Even the packaging was a let down, just a plain brown box without a Vat19 in sight which for a young kid is half of the excitement, knowing that they've received a VAT19 Mystery Box.

We strive to include a variety of popular items (and food items) for the contents in each box. I got your snowball stress ball and I kept on playing with it then eventually I know I'm squeezing it then the snow came out the ball !!! I was so mad then I got your giant blue stress ball and the eventually it got a hole in it and eventually I just threw it away I'm so upset I wasted half of $67.00 !!!

The online order process was pretty painless but thats it. The shipping process was a nightmare. The company shipped the package first half of the journey dhl second half usps. Problem is the company only provided the tracking information for usps which did not work on the dhl sight. I called vat 19 coustmer service and ask for the dhl number. The agent on the phone was snooty and rushed me. Even after receiving the tracking information for dhl i got no updates until it was tethered to usps. I understand thats not vat 19's fault but very annoying. Apon arrival of my package the first thing i noted that i could hear my product flopping around inside the shipping box. I understand i bought a gummy and it is not fragile but have some pride in your packages what if this was fragile. After opening the shipping box i was disappointed. #1 most companies usually include some sort of catalog with ther inventory or at least coupons for next order but nothing. #2 it said what do you want the gift note to say which i thought they ment they were putting a card in with it. Nope. They type it on your receipt.#3 I ordered the worlds largest gummy worm and I thought a product like that would come in a flashy package with vat 19's logo and pictures ext. Sadly it was a plain whith box with a small sticker saying what it was with ingredients. When i opened the product box i was even less impressed with their " melt protection". It was a small pice of cold sheild thermal bubble wrap and a tiny ice pack you would typically find in a first aid kit, and note the ice pack was completely melted on arrival. The worm it's self was also kind of a disappointment. It looked cool and was detailed but the flavor was not there. The commercials made it seem so flavorful but in reality it was dull and had little taste. Not really worth the money in my opinion. I could have perched a 5 pound bag of regular gummy worms for a fraction of the cost and probably with more flavor. I do not want to discredit the company over one unsatisfactory order but i do not think i will buy gummy again. Update i am never ordering from them ever due to the rude response to this review

That is unacceptable and I apologize for your experience. While DHL and USPS are typically great at sharing tracking updates, sometimes one entity doesn't update as it should. I apologize on their behalf that you experienced this issue. If we have deemed a product to be somewhat resilient to the rigors of shipping, we do not add additional packing material in an effort to conserve resources. While an item may jiggle or rattle in shipping, it doesn't mean that it will be harmed in transit. This is especially true for our larger gummy items. Fragile items would be packed with far more void fill and protection. Our policy, however, is not to waste plastic air pillows or bubblewrap if it isn't 100% necessary. I bought the “mega” mystery box for my two boys, ages 9 and 11 to share for Easter. First, I only ordered from the site because the boys talk about it non-stop because of their great advertising which is extremely misleading..this “mega” box ($75) is very small...looks nothing like the one online...it was also full of absolutely nothing they would have chosen themselves ...my fault...thus the mystery. In my option not at all worth the cost..now I’m stuck having to buy more gifts, and I have a box full of junk..ugh.

I would like to point out that small items can be quite valuable, and because we change the contents of the boxes every 1-2 weeks, the physical size of the boxes changes as well. I ordered the large box of mystery because of the videos I had watched . When I received it looked more like the small box that had been reviewed online. As much as I wanted to get this for my son’s I don’t think what I received was worth the money.
