VacationRenterReviews of vacationrenter.com

We own and rent a property on the Isle of Wight U.K. We pay to advertise with a company called simply owners.com and also .net. This company does not charge the holidaymakers a fee, as they put the holidaymakers directly in touch with the owner. I was disturbed to discover that when I did a Google search and typed in Simply Owners, the top hit was a company called vacationrenter.com and there headed two words were Simply Owners. When I did a search on their site I discovered that our property was listed with them without our permission and that they were directing enquiries to VRBO. VRBO charge holidaymakers quite a hefty commission if you book through them. Ie. you are not dealing with the owner direct, as their site suggests. So Holidaymakers beware please. Ken.
