Beware of US Ghostwriter (Neom Media): A Disastrous Publishing Experience and reply to their reply
My encounter with US Ghostwriter, operating under the aliases Neom Media and nytimespublisher.com, was nothing short of a nightmare. Led by Alex Marshall and Lisa Thompson, this company promised a comprehensive publishing and marketing package for a hefty sum of $999, with an additional $4999 for marketing services that were never delivered. From the onset, red flags emerged. Lisa, my supposed project manager, admitted she was unsure of my requirements, indicating a lack of professionalism and expertise. Despite sending them an edited manuscript, the "edited" chapters they returned were riddled with errors, requiring extensive rework on my part. Alarmingly, they simultaneously worked on a book cover mock-up that was shockingly subpar, bearing no resemblance to my characters. As if their incompetence wasn't enough, Lisa audaciously requested more money, a clear attempt to extort additional funds from me. It became evident that US Ghostwriter had no intention of fulfilling their obligations under the guise of professional services. Despite their guarantee of a full refund if dissatisfied, obtaining one proved to be a battle in itself. The final straw came when Alex attempted to dismiss Lisa's actions as a mere miscommunication, a transparent stall tactic to delay my demands for a refund. It became apparent that US Ghostwriter had no qualms about deceiving and defrauding their clients. In conclusion, I urge anyone considering US Ghostwriter's services under the guise of Neom Media and NYTimesPublisher.com to proceed with extreme caution. My experience with this company was marred by incompetence, deception, and a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction. Save yourself the anguish and avoid US Ghostwriter at all costs. Britney Knight Dear US Ghostwriting Team, Thank you for your response, although I must express my disappointment with its lack of accountability and transparency. Your attempt to shift blame onto me for the shortcomings of your company only serves to further undermine your credibility. Allow me to address the inaccuracies in your response: Regarding the website: Alex asked if I had a website, to which I responded truthfully that I had a blog. However, the package I purchased included a website, so the distinction is irrelevant. Your assertion that I misled you is unfounded and serves as a deflection from the core issue. The quality of work: My decision to request a refund was not arbitrary; it was based on the substandard quality of work presented to me. From the outset, it was clear that your team lacked the professionalism and expertise promised. Lisa's confusion on where to begin was indicative of this, and I found it alarming given the substantial investment I had made in your services. Alex's role: It is evident that Alex's involvement was limited to securing the sale, after which I was handed off to Lisa. This bait-and-switch tactic is deceptive and speaks volumes about your company's integrity. In light of the above, I stand by my review and reiterate my warning to others considering your services. Your refusal to acknowledge the legitimate concerns raised only reinforces my belief that US Ghostwriting, Neom Media, and nytimespublisher.com are not to be trusted. Sincerely, Britney Knight

Thank you for sharing false feedback and misguided reviews. People like you spread false reviews about companies who have been honest with their work and commitment to the industry. Let me share the complete story for the world to know You signed up for editing, publishing, and marketing services along with a payment gateway on your existing website. The initial process starts with Editing and Cover Design before we move to Publishing and Marketing the book. During the Editing Process, the customer was told that the payment integration can only be made on a website, not a blog page. Britney initially mentioned during the signup that she had a finished website but that was a lie. When we requested her to send the link to a finished website we were given a blog page. Upon suggesting to the client that for the Payment Integration to be made she will need a website so we can add the product (book). The client then contacted her developer and we went on a three-way call. The developer after negligence agreed that it was not a website but just a blog page. The developer hiding his incompetence started blaming us for upselling her to get a website. After back-and-forth communication, we agreed to offer her website service free of cost as part of the original package even though that was not what was originally agreed. The editing and cover design was being worked on with even approval on the major part of the work. We even sent her a mockup design of the website which she gave us approval for. All this is backed up by a recorded call to prove the above statement. So, please do not spread false review about a company that you SCAM yourself
