Userway is essential for all medical practices
Most of my patients are homebound and disabled, so I just added Userway's accessibility widget to my private practice website, thedocshere.com. I have yet to hear what patients think of the widget, but my practice staff are already very pleased with all that it has to offer. My website currently has the free version, which is very versatile - it not only includes many accessibility tools (e.g. contrast/color inversion, dyslexia-friendly fonts, font size increase, hyperlink highlight), but also, it allows for a lot of internal customization. I'm going to upgrade to the paid version anyway, so that the widget can also include a screen reader (some of my patients have impaired vision in particular) and generate usage reports. I highly, highly recommend Userway's accessibility widget for all medical practice websites, big and small. I've been practicing for over 30 years now, and I see that the field of medicine has a ways to go in making itself optimally accessible for disabled patients. In the internet age, I think that adding Userway's widget to our practice websites is one very crucial step in the right direction.
