I've applied and went back and forth about my application. I've been creating content for several years and they denied my application. They word the email like I don't have good enough editing. I think this is a company that strives for a young audience. I work with nationwide brands and they are looking for a specific demographic. I've watched some of their videos and the brand doesn't come across as a professional brand that really works to build brands. I don't recommend them unless you are very new to the content creation world and are desperate for breaking in.

I primarily use another platform heavily and have UGC jobs coming from other sources as well, but I decided to give Clip a try when I saw an ad. I applied to a few jobs (all very low paying) and got one for a healthcare brand. It went so well that the brand asked for another video and they gave me a $20 bonus. So I applied to other jobs every now and then at the rare time that they would post new jobs. Got another job months later to make content for a necklace brand. I was told that I would get paid around $65 USD once completed. When the money came through it was around $50 saying that the payment was really in AUD!! I was pissed… and the last straw was yesterday. I did a video for a brand that helps build resumes. It was $65. I spoke w/ the brand over 2-3 days, verified direction and even gave them a full script with b-roll direction that they agreed too. I completed the task within the 5 days timeframe following what we agreed upon exactly as discussed… the brand said that they wanted it a different way and they wanted to cancel the job. I told them that the job had been fulfilled exactly as discussed and they can not back out. Whoever the rep was for the brand told me that he didn’t even know what broll was- so that tells you that he was ignorant to UGC. Idk what Clip is going to do about that job, but I’ve never experienced such a disrespectful client and one threatening to not pay me after I’ve completed a job. I’ve been doing UGC for almost 3 years now, completing over 200 jobs. I bring in $3k-$4k consistently every month. I’ve never in those 3 years experienced such an unorganized platform as Clip. They also claim to have a lot of jobs on their job board- THEY DON’T. They rarely have new ones on a weekly basis. And they are all low paying. They don’t have an actual app and there’s no one to talk to when there is an issue- you have to send an email. Other platforms have dedicated teams to help with issues. If you want to try it out that’s on you, but I wouldn’t waste my time. Go to Billo instead. Billo is the truth and has a huge job board with new jobs daily and pays well.

Excellent resource for getting videos made! All creators exceeded my expectations. Quality was very high and the platform is easy to use. I contacted support and they wrote back quickly to answer my question. Overall excellent experience.

We had a highly disappointing experience with Clipp. A creator (Chelsea) uploaded an initial version of our UGC video on March 1st. We provided clear revision feedback on March 3rd and followed up again on March 13th after receiving no response. Despite multiple attempts to communicate, both with the creator and Clipp’s support team, the issue remains unresolved. 
What’s most concerning is that Clipp’s response did not address the actual problem. Instead of helping resolve the lack of delivery, they simply highlighted the creator’s past performance and reliability. We approached this entire process in a calm, professional, and solution-oriented manner. 

However, the reality is that Clipp has already received payment for UGC content that has not been properly delivered. This is unacceptable. If you are considering using this platform, be aware that in case of issues, you may not receive the level of support or accountability you would expect, even when deliverables are incomplete.

Wonderful experience overall. Very happy to know that this service exists.

I had two clips make for the first time with Clip. The process was easy and the creator Anna produced exactly what was required from the brief I sent her. I plan to use Clip again soon.
