Cell service is great, Internet Not Good. The first 2 week, which is the free trial, was great, no problems at all. Once I started paying for it, the service kept dropping. The problem is if one cell tower is over loaded the signal will move to another tower and the customer will have to reset the internet box. Very inconvenient. I had to do this 3x today. Very unhappy with service, but now I'm under a cancelation fee.

Disgusted with US Cellular
US Cellular is fine when everything goes well. But when it doesn’t, on comes the headaches. I haven’t figured out whether their agents are simply not empowered to do anything useful or if the company is actually proactively running a scam.
At the time I signed up, I had an agent tell me I could change my unlimited plan to a lower one if I didn’t need the premium data and that doing so wouldn’t cause me to lose my phone trade in credits. So I changed plans over halfway through the contract period and US Cellular abruptly cancelled the trade in phone credits. So there’s that.
On an earlier occasion, I changed card numbers for my auto pay and started losing my auto pay discount on my bills. I called customer service and they said that they had fixed the issue. The next bill though had the same issue. I called again and they said that my card didn’t actually qualify for the discount and that I’d have to use my checking account to get the auto pay discount. They also said they couldn’t reimburse me for their previously mistaken advice or relaying the mistaken information about the issue supposedly being fixed when it wasn’t. So that’s another issue.
Then finally, when I attempted to leave and go to another carrier, I couldn’t get US Cellular to unlock my phone even though my phone was paid off and my account was in good standing. I spoke with 4-5 different customer service and technical service reps over 5 days and they never resolved the issue. They simply said the phone should be unlocked. After numerous hours trying different stuff I finally went into a physical store and over an hour later, the rep in the store finally got US Cellular to unlock my phone. Thanks John in the WI Dells store for that help. However, I then tried to switch carriers when I got back home and US Cellular still blocked me from moving to a different carrier. My phone was now unlocked but US Cellular wouldn’t release my line. Wondering if an odd snafu happened with the first alternate carrier, I then tried to move to a second different carrier and US Cellular blocked me from moving my line yet again. So again, with everything paid off, I initially tried to switch carriers on a Friday morning and here it is a following Tuesday evening, 5 days later, and US Cellular still refuses to allow me to switch carriers and their service representatives can’t tell me what the issue is. Think about it. If they can prevent an average of 3000 people a week from switching carriers for 5 days and their accounts rack up at a rate of just $2.50/day, that’s (15000 x $2.50) that’s $37,500/week and nearly $2 million/year more in added revenue on top of all the other shady things they do to bring in more revenue. Stay away. And if TMobile is buying US Cellular, I’d stay away from them as well.

I've been with US Cellular for almost…
I've been with US Cellular for almost 20 yrs. Until recently they have always stood to their word with conversations concerning my monthly rates. I have reduced the number of lines, and it seems as though they have an amount they want to charge me monthly, and my bill is going to stay the same regardless of any changes. My service is horrible. and I have a problem dropping calls. As soon as my overpriced phone finally gets paid for, my ability to call gets worse. I have a couple more payments on my phone, and when its paid for, I'm changing carriers !

Poor coverage
Poor coverage. Always throttling back my data. They set up my cloud for me and didn’t include my photos so when my phone was lost I lost 2000 photos. Didn’t work right on vacation to Costa Rica when others phones worked. Customer for over 20 years and fed up.

Service gets worser every month.
Service gets worser every month.
Been a customer off and on for 10 years cause they’re the only ones who get reception at my house and I live in town. Neighbors have same issues so not the phone,
It works good for few months then services start slowing down after that. Internet don’t load right call’s don’t ring. Even the phones themselves stop taking a charge.
My iPhone is 6 months old and it’s freezing and glitching out already.
I only do prepaid cause I know their workers are worthless at anything but taking ur money.
I also think it’s stupid I gotta show ID to pay bill like Y would I care if someone paid my bill?
Also I notice when I leave area I can’t get cell service so how’s that
“nation wide service “
Even cheap azz tracfone allows that.
Guess this is the new normal to be constantly buying junk only to replace it several months later

International plan sucks
We added an international plan to allow us to access the internet and at least contact each other while in europe. Ninety percent of the time we were unable to access ce service exceot in a rate occasion or when we were connected to wifi. We then get a bill for over 200 dollars more than what we were expecting because they claim we went over our usage. We never received a notification that we were out of data on the plan we wasted 35 per line on until we got back into the US, at the end of our trip. DON'T BUY THE MONTHLY INTERNATIONAL PLAN! IT WILL NOT BE ENOUGH FOR YOUR DATA.THEY ONLY OFFERED US A 75 COURTESY CREDIT. NOT ENOUGH.

they can't give you a date something…
they can't give you a date something will be ready they don't communicate with Apple to find out when and how much supply is coming in or other companies this is very hurtful to the costumers even if we haven't paid for the product, they need to call and keep calling until there is an answer and i hate it when they said it would be here in 24 to 48 hours when the store its self says nope we dont have anything in stock there needs to be better and more communication with outside recourse's so costumers feel like they're not being scammed they should have this reflect in the ordering proses online and to costumers it's not that hard to call outside rescores and bug them so the costumers are happy if we owed you money you would be up our butts wanting this it really bugs me a lot5 fix this please
