I bought a new kilt from USA Kilts because I re-enact at Renaissance Fairs in the mid-west and wanted something more "dressy" then I usually wear. Buying complete formal kilt outfit is a decision not to be taken lightly. The cost, no matter where you buy, if you want the "real" thing is no small measure so you want it right the first time. I got this with USA Kilts. I personally drove a few hours one-way to be measured correctly and to pick out my accessories. When the kilt finally a on the date promised, I was very impressed with the quality of the workmanship and the quality of the product. I have since returned to USA Kilts and bought a doublet to go with my kilt, so now I have two very different jackets to select from, depending on the affair. When you are ready to make this kind of purchase, you must visit the store personally if you can. It will be worth the trip!

I have been a customer of USA Kilts for about 2 years. Started with an off-the-rack Casual. Excellent quality and workmanship on their custom kilts. I have two 5 yard kilts and one custom weave 8 yard tank. I have also purchased a tweed jacket and vest set which always receive rave reviews.
