Annoying app, ugly people

Banned for no reason at all, I’m Christian and good person. Tried reaching out to customer service they made me fill out form … rather not even bother

They sent me a message after I expressed my frustrations to them telling me that they “consider the matter closed” and that they would no longer respond to any email from me. Scam!

Upward is a terrible dating service 1) It was a large amount of scammers. When you can review search a picture for a person or scammer there is no excuse they don’t do this search first using AI. Even free Google reverse image search 2) The search is terrible and it gives you people so far away. Often times over 100 miles away. And the search engine can’t select the distance 3) After complaining about the huge number of scammers the customer service denied my request to cancel and wouldn’t give me my money back at least for the unused time. So unethical. Denied me even when I told them they are unethical So buyer beware do not sign up for the service period

Terrible Moderation! I am deeply disturbed by this app's moderation process. A full-frontal nude picture of a 65-year-old man was allowed on Upward, yet it took over a day just to approve a standard photo of my own. Aren't profiles and images supposed to be reviewed prior to going live? It is completely unacceptable that explicit content slips through while regular users are left waiting. Very unsafe and disappointing experience.

So many catfish on this site. Dating parameters dont work. SUCH a bad experience! No customer service and they dont respond to their email support.

The most interesting guys on this app all ended up being scams. It's not worth your time or money in my opinion.
