BUYER BEWARE!!!!! Save your money and time, and do NOT entrust UpTown to handle any of your business needs! It’s been nearly 6 months since they started designing my website, and still, I have nothing to show for it. After numerous phone calls to Jerry and Randolph, and texting with a manager named Chris, who all promised me results within a matter of days, have failed me. I am not sure how they stay in business, as their customer service and work ethic are absolutely poor and mismanaged. Someone else in here mentioned a class action lawsuit, and I am more than happy to partake in that! I will be calling my lawyer next week as well, as I’ve put over $1,000 into having them develop my website, and still I have nothing, I can’t even get a call or email returned. I will also be calling the BBB on Monday, to report UpTown. I would hate to see anyone else get taken advantage of by this poor excuse for a company. So please, if you are still contemplating using this so called business, do your research first, I really wish I would have! I can’t even tell you how many days and hours I’ve spent on just tracking someone down to talk to. Even when you do get a hold of someone, it seems as if everyone there likes to cut you off mid sentence. I have never seen a business so disrespectful and unprofessional!

At first, I had a good experience with this company. I ordered 2 logos that were completed relatively quickly. Then, that's when things went south. The chat have no idea what they're doing from one account to the next. They don't keep records of previous conversations. To make a long story short, after they had my money they never delivered one of my copyright certificates. After WEEKS of explaining this to them and WEEKS of them lying and saying it would be uploaded the next day, I gave up and requested my money back. They apologized and I was told that my refund would be processed that day. It didn't happen. I called back to find out what the delay was for, and I was told that it would process on November 1st, and I would get an email confirmation confirming that. On today, November 4th, I called back to explain that I have no email, and no refund, and a low level chat person who got on the phone after I called in told me that I would not get a refund, despite what multiple agents had already confirmed and promised due to their lack of proper handling of my account. I am considering getting a lawyer.

I described the designs I wanted for my logo. The first round of designs were childish; the second round tried to correct this but weren't right. I tried to end the project, but a service rep called me and begged for "one more chance." I did not agree, but they sent me another round of designs, unsolicited. They spelled my name wrong, on top of clearly ripping off clip art for their work. I logged another dispute, someone new called me and begged for "one more chance." I relented, gave greater description, and they didn't produce anything or contact me at all for weeks. I registered another dispute, someone new tried to call and email me. I contacted the Better Business Bureau to get my payment refunded. Uptown Logo Design got my name wrong again and promised to provide a refund in "7-10 business days." It's been 11 business days and they have not provided a refund or communication. At the very least, this is a highly unprofessional company.

Purchased All In One pkg. Process has been strenuous at best. MONEY BACK GUARANTEE is false no refund after ANY change request. Fast turn around time is FALSE. Problems immediately w/no instructions - they don't email, everything must go through the online dashboard & chat from their website. Finally got logo. Fell for an upsell for copyright protection, asked for refund bc it is included in pkg had to go thru AMEX for refund bc Uptown wouldn't process. Logo is supposed to have (c) for copyrighted. Repeatedly instructed for sample of website to be in English and it remains mixed English/Spanish. Had to repeatedly request the final stationary packet be created with our info. Repeatedly requested a change to the address format to be standard U.S. Questions about items purchased go ignored. The only info I can find on this company is the address is for Wilshire Mail Box (box rental company) in Los Angeles, CA. I suspect they are not even in the U.S.A. 8/24/2019 UPDATE - Can't get anything done through the company as they keep marking things "completed" on the dashboard that haven't even been addressed yet i.e. the website is still mixed languages and the copyright protection with the symbol is still not on my logo. I've filed a complaint with the BBB and have been informed that UpTownLogo will not respond. I've filed a complaint with my credit card company explaining that most of the package purchased has been undelivered and I can't get it resolved. Hopefully I can get a partial refund. UpTownLogo will not correct the problem. The more I've looked into it the more I find that several other people have had the exact same experience - so I am convinced the positive ratings can't possibly be has high as they appear to be.

Firstly, this company is a lair, their design is not bad and customer service is very bad. They guaranteed to complete the website in one month, actually they used more than 3 months and then I paid extra money for one year maintenance plan, then after 6 months, they told me that I paid 6 months plan, I need to pay again if I need any website maintenance.

There is no place to put a zero (0) otherwise I would, but this has been the worst nightmare of a service I have ever received. Did not deliver on their promise, phone calls unanswered, chat request ignored, emails ignored, reported them to the BBB and still no action, my request for a refund has gone ignored. At this point and time I feel scammed. I would strongly recommend AGAINST this incompetent, careless thing they call a business.

I was sold a bill of goods in Sept of 2018. Branding, Logo, Website, Social Media Management, etc. Almost a year later, all I have is a Logo and a couple of screen shots that look just like my old website and now no response whatsoever from my rep Lucas Frater. I have requested a full refund of everything except the Logo, and await a company response to determine if legal action will be necessary. Until I hear how the company is going to deal with this, I would say steer clear. ** Also noted - most of the 1 star reviews complaining about lack of performance, etc- were from late 2018 to present (Mid 2019). Wheels appear to be coming off the cart there. ** Update July 29, 2019 - After them making excuses that no one was monitoring last agent's email - and that he left the company, I was reassigned to Jason who promised me they would have my website delivered within 10 business days. It has been 1 additional month now- still no website. And as of today, no answer on phones at ULD, and no response to emails over the past week. They have $4,400.00 from me for Logo, website, Branding, Logo and Social Media setup - only a LOGO has been delivered. They are non-responsive to BBB - next stop is AG. If they are still in business, I will be surprised. If not, watch and they will pop up with a new name soon! Class Action, anyone?

This is going to be my HONEST unbiased review of working with this company. I SERIOUSLY encourage you to read this review as this review will heavily describe the kind of company this is. Wow where to start - so let’s go over potentially the worst factor, customer service. I’m sorry but customer service whilst designing a logo is absolutely vital, this companies customer service is beyond abysmal, diabolical. Now I’ve gotten that point forward let’s move on to the story - stay with me, this is important. So let’s start from the beginning, I needed a new logo for my company, (to give you context, my logo is an owl) so as you do I had done the research and found some inspiration of a logo on google, now remember that word ‘inspiration’ since it’s key. So I’ve come to this company and I’ve paid for a package, I had described that I wanted an owl, and I’ve made it so simple for them, I attached the inspiration logo that I found and google and requested I wanted a similar logo, same sort of style, but I wanted them to put their own creative twist on it so it wasn’t the exact same logo I sent them. Why change it you may ask? Let me explain - if you’re business savvy you will understand that you can’t just use a random logo found on google and use it for your company, as this can result in massive copyright, so that’s why I told them, and I made this very clear, that I did not want them to recreate that logo, just make a SIMILAR design and put a twist on it - you still with me? Great - so I also requested that I just wanted the logo image, and not any text, since I have my own text logo sorted and what not - remember that part too, that is key. So fast forward a few days, my logo has been sent, the first revision has been uploaded. And you’ll never guess what they had sent, you ready? They had sent me, the EXACT and I mean EXACT same logo I sent them as ‘inspiration’ and just removed the background, and ready, put it on some TEXT!!! So essentially they disobeyed my two most important and vital requests! Not only making it legally impossible to use the logo (since it was the exact same thing I found on google) it also was wedged inbeteeen some text, so I couldn’t even use the logo even if I wanted to! So I was shocked, so I contacted my designer via live chat, I waited a whole 7 days to get a message back and I explained the situation, not only was he horrendously unhelpful, he also could barely speak English so that didn’t help either - I requested a phone call with him and he agreed. So we get on the phone, poor English and shambolic mannerisms, he would cut me off in the middle of a sentence and not listen to me when I was explaining my problem, complete unprofessionalism. Regardless, I looked passed it and he said that he would talk to the senior designer and get this sorted. He added that it would be sorted and uploaded within 24 hours, fast forward 4 days, finally the next revision was uploaded - so his promise was invalid. Anyways the revision and I kid you not - was the exact same logo I had sent them, except they had warped it and made it fatter, annnnd they again wedged it between text! So I was livid - I said to my designer I wanted a refund, he offered me one last chance to get this fixed and I would have the fixed logo by tomorrow morning, so I thought no harm - next morning comes around, no logo, next day.. no logo - 5 days pass, no logo, on this day I message him asked where my logo was, he apologised and said it would be ready in an hour - this tells me that no effort at all went into my logo, so I was correct - 5 hours later my logo gets uploaded - hooray they listened and removed the text, but, that’s not it - now before me I have 3 logos - 1. The same logo I had sent them at the start, but it was fatter. 2. The same logo I had sent them at the start but the face was uglier. And 3. The EXACT same logo I had sent them at the start.. horrified by this I had enough, I requested a refund and that is where I am at now, by reading other reviews I can see that they lie about giving refunds and what not do we shall see! Honestly and I mean this, do not work with them. Save yourself the time and stress and money, and Go somewhere else. Thanks
