I think we need to define the word scam. Scam = you give someone money and they run off with it.
Scam does not = You invested in an early stage crypto project that stated upfront that it wasn't on public exchanges yet so liquidity would be low. The project did list on public exchanges after development was completed. Like with most crypto projects money is used for development, marketing, and listing fees. I'd advise to actually do due diligence before investing. If you even invested, which it sounds more like your review is part of a FUD attack.

For the long term investor..
This platform, as of today should be for the person that has a small amount of money they can set aside for a long time. It's almost impossible to sell on the Main exchange. However with the new Micro exchange platform, selling is possible. Patience is certainly a virtue in this platform but with more investment and time, I have no doubt liquidity is going to increase. This is an issue the platform developers understand and it is the one aspect that is causing such animosity. Overall, risk what you could afford to lose and forget it for a while. Keep up to date with news released and hope for higher volumes and greater liquidity in the future.

The best way to describe this project…
The best way to describe this project is that it is a new and very promising project and as Cryto John put it:
If you would like a good prediction of adoption for Upstake Digital Currency (UPDC) look back 10 years at Bitcoin. Many were not around in the early days but it was extremely hard to buy and sell.
Many today compare apples to orange seeds. People use to complain and cry about lack of liquidity in bitcoin too! Those were the first ones to sell when they could. I wonder if any of those early holders of bitcoin are regretting it now. I think they would think about it every minute! Maybe they bought for cents and when bitcoin started to gain traction 3-4 years later dumped as quickly as they could. I see the same mentality in some early holders of UpStake. Personally I don’t care if anyone sells, when they sell, what their strategies are etc. I’m confident we’ll achieve hundreds of millions in daily liquidity long term.
Hard work, hard work, hard work! Every coin sold today can’t be bought back tomorrow cheaper, this longer term will create a powerful hold mentality because once you're out, you can only get back in buy reinvesting more then you sold for.
Investing is not easy, holding is even harder! Temptation is a real thing. Think about the features of UPDC and what it protects everyone from. You never need to stress about the price, wash trading, fake volume, shorting, pumps and dumps. The biggest problem UPDC will need to overcome is liquidity, (WE KNOW) once unlocked UPDC goes straight past the moon and into another universe. If that was easy we would have a hundred UPDC tokens.
Those who have faith, vision and a touch of patience will be the biggest winners. Those who can’t see past their feet will never win in this space!
Rome wasn’t built in a day! UPDC isn’t going anywhere tomorrow or in a month. Set realistic goals and put energy into helping the project grow.
