I booked a trip for myself and my daughters to take in June 2021. I was denied boarding because some bloke at American Airlines didn’t like my passport. So we got turned away. Called Apple and was refused a refund . So I put called my cc company and they sided with me. Now they are after me for this loan .Apple has their money. Never again with either company.

Be careful. If you booked a flight with Air Canada and paid with the UPLIFT financing - and Air Canada issues you a full refund they are REFUSING to return your money. This is for a fully paid off loan with Uplift. For over a month now they claim they have not received the funds yet Air Canada has returned it to them. I booked other Air Canada flights and the refund was credited back to credit cards within 2-3 business days. Their customer service is no help and will disconnect on you. Unbelievable business practices! Stay far, far away unless you do not care if your money, thousands of dollars, is taken from you - and there is nothing you can do whatsoever!

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!!!! I booked a trip on KAYAK and used them to finance the trip. The trip got CANCELLED by QATAR AIRLINES and they refuse to refund me. They are telling me that I need to contact KAYAK about the refund...YET KAYAK is saying they have already sent them the money. I WILL BE CONTACTING MY ATTORNEY!!!! I am so tired of the run around. I am a CUSTOMER. NO WAY SHOULD I HAVE TO CALL AFTER A COMPANY BACK TO BACK ABOUT A REFUND.

So last week I decided to start planning a vacation. My kids love Universal , so I was checking on some dates and hotels, and comparing prices when I noticed I could apply to make payments on the trip. I have done that before with Affirm (whom I love by the way) so I thought why not and was approved ; I wasn’t ready to commit to that particular time and was still seeing if other dates may be cheaper - today I made a decision on when to go and applied and it denied me ? So I emailed them bc it said it couldn’t “verify my information “ I explained that I had checked to see if I was approved and what the rate was , but I didn’t commit yet bc I was still deciding. I got an email back stating they have decided to “terminate my ability to make loan request” and as outlined in their terms of service they can do that at any time . Do what ?! But like WHY?! No explanation , no I’m sorry just a snotty attitude from a serious inquiry I guess I’ll go back to old faithful Affirm if I decide to finance my trip

I’m not sure if these previous bad reviews are from USA or Canada. I’m in Canada and my experience with uplift has been great. I traveled to two countries in Africa and got my tickets through them and it’s been great. I had no issues with the booking or the rate. I Pay every month and on occasion if I can’t make the payment they allow me to reschedule it. I’m not sure where the bad part comes from but I’ve loved it so far. I called once or twice and the person was fine and helpful. They text me reminders a few days before my payment and once the payment goes through. They allow me to make payments early with no penalty. I’d definitely recommend and use again in the future.

Because of COVID I had to Cancel a flight. Cost of United Round Trip cost over $800. My Refund was $187. DO NOT CANCEL YOU LOAN . It is a MISTAKE TO CANCEL. Total loss of cash. $600 MISTAKE I MADE.Don’t be a FOOL LIKE ME.

Just used them to book a flight and no issues! I received a copy of the payment plan and it is great! Thank you Uplift!
