**Worst Company Ever: Approved $6,000 HVAC Reimbursement Still Unpaid** I purchased a premium United Home Warranty policy for $700 in connection with my new home purchase, expecting dependable coverage when I needed it. I filed HVAC claim #74928 on August 5, 2026. On August 19, I received written confirmation that upper management approved outside authorization to replace my HVAC unit and that I would be reimbursed up to my $6,000 coverage limit. I followed their instructions, paid for the replacement myself, and submitted my paid receipt and reimbursement request on August 21. Despite multiple follow-up emails and calls, I have not received the promised $6,000 reimbursement or a clear payment timeline. My emails have gone unanswered. Today, I called customer service again and was unable to reach a person. The call went directly to voicemail, and I left another message requesting help. I relied on the written approval and paid a significant expense out of pocket. At this point, I am extremely disappointed with the lack of communication and follow-through. I am still requesting immediate payment of the approved $6,000 reimbursement, along with confirmation that my receipt has been received and a specific payment date. I am planning to file a civil lawsuit against them.

Still waiting on 4k from this company as a contrator what do you think will happen with you as th consumer

I strongly urge anyone considering United Home Warranty to think twice before purchasing a plan. My experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. I paid for a home warranty expecting peace of mind, but when I needed reimbursement for repairs, the company completely failed to follow through. I was told—more than once—that a check had been “priority mailed,” yet I never received anything. What’s even more concerning is the complete lack of communication. My calls have gone unanswered, and they have also ignored outreach from my Realtor. At this point, it feels like they are intentionally avoiding resolving the issue. From what I’ve experienced—and after seeing similar complaints from others about delayed payments and unresponsive customer service —I am seriously questioning the legitimacy of this company. I paid for a service that has not been delivered, and instead of support, I’ve been met with excuses and silence. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Shitty customer service try to screw you over and deny your claim for no reason without explanation. Don’t waste your money.

Literally made an account just to post this. On Jan 28, HVAC RPE LLC dispatched a couple of technicians to inspect an intermittent issue with my furnace. They diagnosed a problem with a zone control sensor, leaving it out before departing my residence. I was told that their parent company (Motili Inc) and United HW need to discuss a way forward before they can replace it. On Feb 10, I reached out via United HW's "24/7" claims service email to ask for an update. On Feb 13, I still hadn't heard back, so I sent another email to their claims department. I've now reached out 3 times for a resolution without hearing anything back from UnitedHW. I'm questioning what it is I'm paying for at this point. Please avoid this company. I can't even get a hold of someone to tell me whether the claim is covered or not.
