Products are wonderful and would rate 5 stars. But the service was lacking. I received only part of my order, with nothing on the paperwork indicating that it was a partial shipment -- in fact, the paperwork showed everything I ordered. When I called, I learned that what I ordered had been out of stock. It was shipped when promised, but it would have been nice to have been told that it was a partial order without having to call.

The length of time from order time to delivery is too long.

My review is very much a comparison between Quill and Ultimate Office. We typically use Quill for office supplies, but your company had a couple items not offered there. Delivery is not as quick as Quill. That could be overlooked, but we ordered only a small amount of items, and still we were missing one of them (binder). The fact that we can simply send along a PO number, with a bill following to our Accounts Payable department, makes Quill the hands-down easier experience. We will continue to use them because of ease of ordering. The extra step of calling Ultimate Office first makes it just less streamlined.

Unusual Products. I have purchased off and on as a personal office user. This with previous owner and now his new start up. I find products dependable and lasting durability. Some products appearing in the catalog are not what I envisioned upon receiving them. The WORST problem is the shipping, Used big boxes for shipping smaller items. All arrived in good shape but such a waste of packaging. Since items come from different warehouses, I am not sure how it could be done different. I hope they offer full-time customers a deep discount on shipping costs.

I always find it troubling when companies continue to advertise products on their websites, with NO notification UP FRONT that the product is in fact out of stock and/or backordered. My order with Ultimate Office was placed in late January, and it did not finally ship until about 4 months later. Even though customer's credit card is not charged until the item is shipped, it does not help customers to plan appropriately when not informed at time of order that the item is NOT in stock. I had already placed the order and then received notification from the company (about a week later), via a phone message left on my answering machine, of the backorder situation. No accurate timeline was provided as to when the product was expected to arrive, nor did they bother to keep me apprised of ongoing status -- I had to keep calling them to inquire. Also, although I like the function and storage capacity of the shelving unit I ordered, I felt it was way overpriced for the "styro" plastic materials of which it is comprised. Assembly instructions were poor.

Two months after placing order I was still waiting for delivery with no information from seller. When I contacted them to find out why, they explained that it was on backorder. It took another 1 1/2 months to receive.

The product was up to my expectation. The assembly process was more than I expected. We had a great deal of difficulty with the screws not wanting to turn in, even with human strength and a power driver.

My item sent was damaged. I received this Friday evening and your office was closed. I did leave a message and I did get a return call on Monday. However, the tone of the message seemed stern - but setting that aside - I to my knowledge - never received another call regarding what to do. I did call back but with my schedule, I called after hours. I did not leave another message. I would love to find out how to get another item sent or replaced -due to the fact I am currently using the item damaged.
