The course and it's content exceeded my expectations. It continues to exceed my expectations on a daily basis. Ulrich is a passionate teacher, coach, and mentor who cares deeply about his students. He has made me feel like a member of his musical family. He is also a working professional musician with an impressive resume and network of musical colleagues. The membership group was an unexpected, powerful bonus. This group of genuinely interesting, like minded individuals is supportive and enhances the transformation process. I would like to provide my finest commendation to Total Guitar Transformation academy and its creator and a fine mentor, Ulrich Ellison. I have been a student at TGT for about 8 months now, I have learned about the internals of guitar playing techniques, music theater, composition, you name it... More than I have learned in a couple of decades. At this point, when someone throws around something to the tune of "playing using diminished 7th arpeggios" this actually does make sense to me which is absolutely wonderful! All in all, I can't recommend Ulrich and his course more. Ulrich is also fostering such fantastic and friendly community, that helps to propel each one of the students along the course. I wholeheartedly recommend this course to anyone passionate about guitar and music in general.

How to speak the beautiful language of music. This is the most valuable thing that I learned from Ulrich. This made me think like a musician. I didn’t even think about this aspect when I entered the course. I thought that melody and chords is all - but learned that rhythm, accentuations and dynamics is what makes music eventually alive. Then there was the Basic Training stuff. This is a well-structured system. The TGT community provides an extremely powerful support here. If you accomplished this, then you became a guitar player. Since my graduation I have the freedom to quickly learn and play any kind of blues / rock / funky song in full and with feel. Ulrich made me a guitar player. I could not be happier 😊. Gabor

Ulrich is an amazing soul and teacher he is definitely there for you and he will answer any questions you have and he shares his knowledge of music with you and you will learn so grab a guitar and learn. TGT is a great community of guitarists and musicians who come together and learn the foundations of music.

I have worked with many guitar teachers over the last 50 years. Ulrich is the best. His system is not only very informative and motivational, it is also fun and entertaining. If it’s not fun, people won’t stick with it. You will love this program.

Ulrich is a brilliant inspiration and a very observant dedicated mentor offering detailed personalized expert reviews on any videos submitted by students in ways that help us grow, and obvious results do show when his suggestions are taken to heart. Ulrich really cares and makes himself available for any questions at guidance calls. The program is rich with great content, which can be easy for some, maybe harder for others to navigate, but Ulrich and the community are always warm and helpful, it just takes somewhat proactive approach to get all the help and support needed. The community is great. I wasn’t a beginner when I joined, and though I haven’t been as active as other members, I personally gained noticeable abilities by simply completing various foundational tasks and learning from the calls and from observing the journey of others and how they are guided by Ulrich too, sometimes that can be so powerful. Not as powerful as doing the work and submitting videos myself, but still a useful plus side of the inner circle setup. I noticed those who don’t get easily discouraged but keep posting videos and asking for help and feedback are the ones that make the most striking improvements quickest. Loving to learn and play Hendrix songs also helps for anyone considering TGT.

This is a thorough and comprehensive system. It is extensive and well-indexed. Everything you need is here at your fingertips, and if you have the time, there is so much here to learn. The best thing about this system though, is the human warmth, professionalism and dedication of the leadership. These qualities have produced a vibrant, friendly and supportive community of learners, and a sense of family. The method is effective. Students display obvious progress. Love it.
