Parked my car in one of your car parks like ive been doing for months and months. Paid my fee when leaving and this morning got a fine for £100. Your machine on the day in question was not working properly and may payment did go through and i have proof of this from my bank. You really are just a bunch of cowboys like all the parking companies are in this country. Glad to read and hear that the government is about to bring some new laws into private parking companies. Really pleased to hear this. Shocking company and i look forward to hearing from you about cancelling my fine.

What a scam! Parked and paid in Newcastle then received a fine by letter, sent proof of payment and this was the response - Thank you for your appeal against the above Parking Charge Notice (PCN). We have carefully considered your appeal and on this occasion the appeal has been accepted and the PCN has been cancelled. I had paid to park there’s no careful consideration to be taken! What an absolute joke companies like this take advantage of people and make fortunes disgusting.

Gave my 86yr old mother with her Blue Badge at the hospital, where she had been sent as a matter of urgency, being told to pull over by the Dr if she felt faint, these filth give her a Parking Ticket when she is at the hospital with an urgent heart condition, she sent them everything Special Delivery, they still pursue her for the ticket, what human filth runs these joints!!! If in any medical establishment report to CEO & CQC.

I would advise everyone to avoid these car parks where possible, They issued me with a fine and out of an hour I’d only used 10mins . Appealed sorted , they issued me another fine I had gone over by 6mins through no fault of my own. They said they would reduce the payments to £20. I tried to pay and the website said I was unable to at this time . I have screenshots. You can only contact them by letter. I wrote paid for recorded delivery have the receipt. Then I got a demand for £100. As before there’s no way to contact them unless writing which proved fruitless . Before I got another increased demand I paid the £100 I have paid roughly £16.50 per minute . The biggest problems are over pricing the car park is also full of pot holes . Being issued a fine when you haven’t gone over the time . I have receipts for my recorded delivery which they ignored . Terrible company .

i was fined for non payment and i was on the road on double yellows executing a court warrant . NO CHANCE 1 it was wrongly enforced you cannot pay on double yellows for a ticket 2 executing a warrant you have a right to park according to google 3 i received notice after the 14 days 4 when i appealed online it said parking number not recognised 7 times but when i went to pay section lo and behold straight there I took a video of this to prove it. I think the software is rigged to not allow initial appeal

On the 13th of July I received a parking notice from UKPA in Edinburgh. Apparently my car was spotted at about 4pm by the Parking Eye camera in a car park in Livingston. The details of My car are correct but the car in the photos are of a black VW Golf or Polo. My car is a Blue Honda CRV. I informed DVLA who said that it sounded as though my number plates had been cloned and that I was to inform the police. I informed Northumbria Police, who kindly put me through to Police Scotland who gave me an incident number and told me that I had to inform UKPA. After trying quite a few times to use their appeal form, I gave that up as the form kept going back to the first page. I end up writing to them. I gave the relevant information to UKPA in the letter, along with photos of my car and the fact that I have not been to Scotland for over 3 years as I can no longer walk far. I also pointed out that as I have Newcastle, Durham, Sunderland, Metro Centre all within a 10 mile radius of my home and also the Washington Galleries shopping centre on my door step, why would I want to go to Livingston. On the 28 th July I received a text from Parking Eye asking me to pay them the parking charge. I sent another letter, as their electronic appeal system just kept bouncing me back. The letter included the Scotland Police incident number as well as the fact that the false plates had been flagged by them. I also told them that Northumbria Police had taken note and that DVLA wanted to know the outcome of my appeal. I also stated that as a 70 year old with health problems, this whole process was causing me a great deal of stress.. The Parking Eye address that I had to send that letter to was a Post Office Box in Blyth. I have today received another parking charge from UKPA Edinburgh. Stating that the full charge of £100 now had to be paid. If it were not paid, the possibility of extra charges, debt recovery or even court. This is harassment. They obviously do not want anyone to appeal and obviously don’t read their mail. Though I do question that as the only place I had my phone number was on the top of the first letter. So I do question how they could send me a text from Blyth. I will be taking this to my MP and reporting harassment to the police. UKPA and Parking Eye are very unscrupulous and indeed I waould go so far as to say that they use sharp practice to run their business.

UKPA at Livingston Red Car Park at Almondvale West Retail Park (which is NOT part of Livingston Designer Outlet) is trying to scam me for parking there. I paid to park there on 12 July 2026. The pay machine/payment system is managed by HOZAH. The machine did not provide tickets to display on your windscreen. Also, the machine did not provide a hard copy of the receipt on that day. But, I entered my email address for the receipt to be sent to. On 15 July 2026 UKPA sent me a parking charge notice for non-payment. The fine was £100, reduced to £60 if paid within 2 weeks. I appealed the charge since I did pay for my parking and sent them the emailed receipt from Hozah. I was lucky I got this receipt. If not, I would not be able to argue my case and would just submit to their demands. They have time-stamped photos of when my car went in and out of the parking area. However, they rejected my appeal and offered me a reduced settlement of £20 if paid within 2 weeks. After which the fee will be increased to the full amount of £100. No reasons were given for the rejection. I am now further appealing this matter to POPLA. But, I was supposed to be provided with 10-digit reference number to be able to make the appeal. UKPA has not given me this reference at the time of writing this. I already sent them the proof of my payment for the parking. Not sure what else they want. I will fight this to the very end. They are not getting away with this. All this smells like a scam to me. I just can't imagine if people were charged with the fine, but did not have any receipts to proof that they have paid. What then...?

This a scam company using Hozah Parking Ltd which was changed to UKPA on 22 Apr 26 who strangely has the same person in charge namely David Arthur Seymour Fowle who has been running such companies for years - i have advised DVLA IC NORFOLK CONSTABULARY AND COMPANIES HOUSE
