I have lost all respect for this online page since they continue to allow people to raise money to pay fines when they have broken the law. Why should people expect the generosity of others whilst they flout the laws of lockdown during a pandemic? Absolutely appalling Go fund me continue to let the likes of the Bradford hairdresser to raise funds this way. Over £10k has been donated. By the way, she still is refusing to pay her fines. This makes me wonder the legitimacy of other fund raisers on here.

Go fund me have ignored many complaints regarding ANTIFA, who say that they are raising money for the channel crossing. The money goes towards dingies, outboard engines etc for the migrants

Impossible to withdraw go fund me money

I recently donated to the local school via a leaflet put through my door. As I knew the child that was collecting for a coronavirus clear up at his school I donated. I set my amount and bank details and I noticed a box marked Do you want to give a tip. As I am not particularly well off and living on a State Pension I did not select it and left the box blank. When I checked my bank account I found that the tip amount of £1-50 had been added to my specified amount. It is not a life changing amount but I feel that I have been conned. I assume that you have to tick the box if you DON'T want to give the company a tip. They need to stop using reverse psychology to confuse you into giving extra money to themselves.
