I like that I can use a lot of AI models through the API, as it's cheaper for me than paying for any through their platform. I also like that I can mix technologies, for example use Claude and Perplexity at the same time.

Good UI and Clean Pre-Configured Agent Framework Typing Mind does well what many have tried to achieve, in allowing users to multi-plex between different backend LLM providers and save their own custom system prompts and model settings through easy-to-use interfaces.

The user interface (UI) is exceptionally smooth and intuitive, making it a pleasure to interact with various large language models (LLMs). The user experience (UX) is also top-notch – everything feels very responsive and well-thought-out. What truly stands out is the frequency of updates. The developers are clearly committed to improving the product, and it shows. New features and enhancements are rolled out regularly, which is fantastic. Finally, the one-time payment model is a huge plus. It's a refreshing change from subscription-based services, and offers incredible value for the long term. I have no hesitation in recommending Typing Mind. It's a brilliant tool that keeps getting better.

I love being able to seamlessly switch between LLM's - and setting "project settings" in folders has absolutely streamlined my workflow.

TypingMind allows to use different LLM through API. You have to have your own API key, but it's possible to find some free options. For example, on Gemini, openrouter, etc. Unifying user interface that TypingMind provides makes it easier to work with different models. I use reasoner models to plan and architect software, and then completion models to implement the changes. I recommend to get a Premium license. Great product, I use it every day
