I was able to import conversations from ChatGPT, implement Memory MCP (wasn't too difficult for a non-techie) so that the AIs can remember things about me across conversations, created an agent, and got set up right away. It has a lot of user-friendly features, useful help pages, and plugins, prompts and agents that are built in. The main benefit is you can pick and choose which AI service and models you want to use in a friendly interface. Plus you can run everything in your local machine, for privacy but there is a limited free option if you want to cloud sync. (I chose conversations only to save space, but the free plan won't hold much.) I wanted to move away from being locked into one AI company and the recurring monthly fees. I don't know yet how costs compare, but I'm hoping my API use will be less than paying for several monthly subscriptions. I will experiment with some of the free models as well. Typing Mind is helping me reclaim privacy and expanding what I can do with AI tools!

After a short learning and configuration period, I don't want to miss it anymore! Really powerful and flexible frontend!

I've been a TypingMind customer ever since it originally launched, and I have to say, it's been an incredible journey watching Tony publicly build this product out of thin air. When I originally bought, I immediately went for the lifetime deal because even back then, this app had so much potential. The product you see today. A lot of the features Tony built into this app is pretty much all the things these bigger companies like OpenAI and Anthropic built into Claude and ChatGPT. I keep saying it, a company like Appple or Microsoft needs to buy TypingMind, i bet Tony could be unstoppable given the resources these companie have.

Easy to use and it shaped how I work. Its become part of my daily workflow and it allows me to be that much more efficient. Love it!
