Do not use this free product
Do not use this free product! It's weird to say this but the ads are so intrusive that they actually cause lag in your keystrokes. I understand that free programs have ads, but it shouldn't be at the expense of the student trying to learn. Go elsewhere!!
Response from Typing.comApr 27, 2022
Hi Geordie, I'm sorry to hear that you did not have a good experience with our site. We love the way that advertising allows us to provide our educational tools for free all around the world. That being said, the ads should not cause any problems on the site. Please send us an email at [email protected] and we'll be happy to help you fix this problem.

Horrible
Horrible website! I'm doing the "coding essentials" bit right now and it explains NOTHING, at least barely anything! My mother could explain it better, and she doesn't even work with code!

garbage
Absolute garbage. After the 5 minute typing test, it forces you to sign up in order to view the results. Cheap & immature.
Response from Typing.comAug 13, 2021
Hi Abhinav, If you complete one of the typing tests, you will be able to see the results as soon as you finish the test, however, you will have to create an account if you want to get a certificate. If you need more information, please email [email protected]. Have a nice day.

dont waste your time
I was hopeful this would get me off of being a hunt and peck typist.Alas this is another site that uses so many ads that it slows the site down to unusable. I get you need to make your bottom line but the site doesn't even do as promised. I cant get through the first lesson because every time it freezes , then catches up and doesn't register what I typed. Couldn't even make it to a 15 minute goal.

It can be so annoying
It can be so annoying. When one types a wrong letter, the wrong letter you typed will get red and dangles down. And the same kind of activity can be redone so many times
