I have a been a subject of deceptive practice by Parker Philtop when he stated over a phone presentation a better "cap percentage" on a new policy. Once this policy was written and few months later he followed up with a phone call, he introduce a lower cap percentage and attempted to dismiss the deceptive attempt with a misunderstanding. Parker Philtop is not a trust worthy financial advisor.

This month was the anniversary of the annuity my husband purchased through Ty J Young 12 years ago. This year the surrender fee was at 0% and he could liquidate the annuity with no fees. His advisor decided to offer a replacement product that would lock him into another product with surrender charges for next 5 years and appeared quite excited because it had a return rate near 10% and wanted to get him to sign up for it right there an then without providing further info that would reflect negatively on the annuity. When a request was made to provide further information about the new annuity as well as other options such as different SPIAs showing the benefits of each over the other the response was to provide a brochure on the new annuity and an "illustration" of only one type of SPIA, Single Life Only. My husband and I were forced to do our own research to obtain a full picture of all options. His advisor was not advising him but was set on signing him up for a product without regard to what we felt our future needs required. In other words he was an aggressive salesman not an advisor.

After having reasonable returns the first two years, we have been very dissatisfied with the low or zero returns we have gotten for several years. I don't consider 0.1% annually a reasonable rate of return. I could have done better at my local bank. We were advised to change our funds at last years annual review, and one account got 0.1% and another 0%. This was a very poor investment for us.

Thank you for being a valued client! Our goal is to exceed your expectations from a performance standpoint and a service standpoint. A reasonable rate of return to expect from a good Index Annuity is 6-8% compound, per year, every year. The key is, selecting the right product and making changes regularly. To achieve these goals, it requires active management which is why it is so important that we work together to have regular communication. It looks like you recently took that action in responding to our call to schedule a call with your Advisor later this month. He looks forward to discussing your options to put you in the best position to increase your potential rate of return. - Ty J. Young Wealth Management

I cannot give you a positive review after an on-fire stock market for 2 years and I receive a ZERO RETURN for 2 years! Enjoy the money you’re making off of me.

Thank you for being a valued client. It is always our goal to exceed your expectations from a service standpoint, as well as a performance standpoint. As we’ve discussed on the phone, it’s important that you hold your Annual Reviews and adjust your account allocations to maximize your rate of return over time. Clients who make these adjustments see higher rates of return. Our COO and VP are personally working on your behalf. They believe the adjustments you recently made put you in a much better position to increase your potential rate of return. - Ty J. Young Wealth Management
