Way more expensive than the quote, which you better save because it will be gone if you try to review it later for accuracy. You don't just pay for the job, you also pay for drive time. Timer starts when they leave the facility and ends when they park. How do you know if they stop or detour to drag out the clock? You don't. You also pay in full before they leave, how am I paying for travel time if they're still here? How are you calculating time for a drive you didn't finish and that customers cannot monitor? I paid $55 for gas, they drove 5 miles with my stuff. I was charged for insurance coverage that I refused, waiting for a refund. Why did I pay if I refused? Because I wasn't given an itemized receipt until over an hour after I paid, which is when I saw the overbilling. I saw the high charge and asked the mover if my deposit was applied and he said I'll get my deposit back in a few days, which was found to be a lie after speaking to management. It's giving "charge a bill and tailor the receipt after". Also watch those initials and signatures because I didn't sign anything after the move, yet "my initials" were there attesting that the truck was empty and that it all went well.
They didn't break anything, but $500 to move 2 pieces of furniture 5 miles in 90 minutes (charged for 2.75 hours) on a weekday is criminal. I'll never hire another mover, I'll ask a brother cousin or crackhead before I hire a mover.

Worst company to move with.
Worst company to move with.
They broke our marble and Ónix dinning table, night stand, marble bar and base of white living room. When the loaded nothing was protected, not even a 20k oil canvass.
Never use then

No show on moving day after taking deposit
I cannot stress enough how unprofessional this company is. We booked our move weeks in advance, paid the deposit, got a confirmation email with an arrival window of 8 to 9 AM. We had everything packed and ready to go at our new house. 8:45 rolls around and nobody shows. We call them and find out we were never put on the schedule. Let that sink in. They took our money, sent us a confirmation, and never scheduled us.
No one called to warn us. No one reached out. We found out only because WE called THEM. We had to scramble to find last minute help on a Friday because they dropped the ball completely. If you are considering using Two Men and a Truck, save yourself the headache. They will take your deposit, confirm your appointment, and then forget you exist. Absolutely unacceptable.

I did not hire them but now I never will
I did not hire them, but had to deal with the women in the truck who was parked in front of my garage door.
It is an apartment building marked with no parking zones and one way drive.
This truck was parked in the wrong direction and in a no parking zone. After asking them to move their truck an argument broke out. Instead of moving the vehicle it became clear to us she was not happy. Actually it was stated they only had one or two more items. I had a scheduled appointment and had to leave I had no time to wait for their one or two more items.
The attitude was disgusting from those one man and a women.
I would never recommend them or hire them.
Move the truck when you are in the wrong, do not argue with a possible future client when you are in a senior apartment building.

GHOSTED after many attempts to contact about damages
I moved in December of 2025 and STILL have not had resolution on damages that occurred during my move. They didn't "pad and wrap" almost anything I was assured they would, it was terrifying to watch them unload my possessions out of a giant box they just stuffed everything into. And now they continually ignore so many attempts to contact them and get my floor fixed and reimbursed for things they broke. Its like objectively absurd how many times they have dropped the ball. Moving is expensive no matter who you hire so look elsewhere, i regret hiring this company so badly.

Horrible experience
Imagine hiring a company to move your aging mother on December 13th from her home. A home that all of her memories, treasures and pictures reside in, establishing a life well lived. Imagine this company delivering the items to her new home. A time in her life with so much change, after losing her husband of almost 50 years. The 3 men who moved her items, scratched several pieces of furniture, left her mirror swinging on her dresser and not attached with all the parts, broke her microwave and damaged the sliding glass door to her entry way. How did they break the door you ask? They rolled a heavy piece of furniture on a hand truck over it and cracked the frame. The movers took picture and told us the company would be in touch. In touch they were not. I had to reach out to the company. They had a handy man (not a company) come out to assess the damages. The handy man said he could fix the furniture and wanted to put epoxy on the door! Epoxy we asked?! We don't want a temporary fix to a permanent problem. It's a main point of exit/entry! We did not ask for this to happen. We did however accept his offer to fix the furniture. The furniture of which he just came back to get last week. Jonathan did not get back in touch with him until 2/13. Two months later! I contacted Jonathan Taylor at the Rolling Rd location in Baltimore, MD when the contractor came out. I explained the situation and told him while we were waiting for someone to respond to us about the damages, we had Lowes come out to give us a price for a new door. He agreed & stated that he would take care of it & asked me to send over the contract. He took Stephen's name from Lowes and was in contact with him several times. He was going to pay by credit card, then wanted to pay by check. He had me enter into the contract with Lowes and we were all set. Well, until the next day. He called me in the morning and stated that because the door was just over $3,000 he couldn't pay for it out of his location, he would have to submit a claim with Gallagher Basset. Myself, assuming he would advise them of the contract and we would receiving the check from them was ok for the moment. Then, Gallagher Bassett called. Candida the claim adj. took my information and said she would contact Jonathan. It took her several times and even had to reach out to her supervisor to get in touch with him. When she finally did, he told her his guy can fix it. So the adjuster emailed me to let me know what he stated. I am STILL waiting to hear back from her again because I told her JONATHAN had me enter into a contract and they don't just go away. He set me in this position and I trusted him. What about the contract with Lowes? I have heard nothing from either the ins. company or TWO MEN AND A TRUCK. I have a contract with Lowes who have already been out to measure the door after we signed- thanks to JONATHAN! I asked for the GM or the owner's contact info and nobody will give it to me. So please anyone who is interested in hiring Two Men and a Truck from 2709 Rolling Road ste 122 Baltimore, MD 21244, please don't. Jonathan doesn't care how he left your furniture or your house. He only cares about getting paid immediately. My elderly mother even gave the 3 men a nice tip for their work. We get everyone makes mistakes. But to not fix them and put your customers in a financial position and then leave them hanging? This is our experience and we will be sharing with everyone we know. Too bad, Two Men and a Truck, I had so much faith in you to handle my Mom's end of life move with compassion and professionalism. "Treat everyone like your Grandma" is your motto. I think this location forgot this or they hate their Grandma which is even worse.

Final invoice 33% higher than quote
Final invoice 33% higher than quote, with no delays or changes to the job. And gave the highest initial quote but promised it was thorough. Damaged furniture, broken glasses (no attention paid to the FRAGILE notes on boxes), reported damages with no response. Asked for a tip and for it to be in cash. Asked for beers when finished the job. Unprofessional.

Go with Another Company
After doing a virtual walk thru of everything I wanted to move, the sales rep gave me an estimated weight and a price of $5500 for the move and $1500-2000 to pack up my house. Told me if you want to save money pack as much of it as you can and we’ll pack what’s left. We packed up 90% of the house.
There packers came to my house weeks later to finish and was there for 1.5 hours and charged me $850.00.
After the move the price was $800 more than what was quoted to me because they said we were 3000# over the estimated weight price. I can see being off by 1000# but 3000#?
When I contacted the “franchise manager” Chris of the Garner, NC office, he told me he would look into it. Waiting for his reply verbally never came. A week later I received an email from him basically saying “ tough shit” and he charged my credit card. The balance of the move with the additional $800.
What better way to get your business. They give you the cheapest quote and charge you a deposit then after the move is done they tell you your weight is more than they said it was. That goes for the packing portion also. If they would have packed my entire 2300 sq ft house how do they come up with $1500-2000 quote? It would have taken them at least 4 more hours to pack the whole house and would have been much more than quoted.
These guys under quote there prices to get your business. When they do the job the price is considerably higher. Go with someone else.
What is the purpose of a virtual walk thru when it means nothing to the final bill? I knew it was an estimated weight but being off 3000# is unacceptable.
