Hi Dawn, sorry you did not like the dough, but we appreciate you giving us a try!

I wanted to love this product because the macros are amazing! Unfortunately the “protein” aftertaste is one of the worst I have ever had with a protein product. They have a no refund policy so I am basically throwing $80 in the trash. If the protein aftertaste isn't something that bothers you then this could be a good product for you but i definitely do not recommend if thats something that bothers you.

They have zero customer service. They act like they care but then insult you, your intelligence and your taste buds. Very condescending and are no refunds so I don’t understand what resolution they mean because I’m not ever ordering from them ever again. It tastes like Tylenol in playdoh. No sweetness at all. So I was told to chill it and stir it and it so tiny, not much to stir. I feel the next once will be just as bad. You never offered a refund. I never asked for a refund. I have trouble swallowing Tylenol . That’s how I know the taste. You make it clear that you won’t refund anything for any reason. I never asked for a refund. I asked why it tasted so bad.

Hi Wendy! We exchanged some emails and you advised you did not like the taste. You also explain it tastes like Tylenol in playdoh. We are not sure how you know what that tastes like, but to each their own. As mentioned on our website before your ordered, food sales are final and not liking the taste does not warrant a return/refund. We will always help our customers with carrier issues, but just because "you did not like it" is not a reason for a refund.

This stuff is so disgusting. I’m not a picky eater but man, this is rough. I’m writing a review to save anyone reading this the $$. Don’t waste yours on this garbage. Of course there is no satisfaction guarantee because they’d be out of business if they had to start refunding people

Hi Joan! So sorry you did not like the dough. As it is a food perishable product, we cannot refund and taste is a preference. That being said I understand that sometimes a flavor just does not hit for a customer, but if you are willing to give us another shot, I would be happy to ship you a package on me to try some other flavors. Email DJ at [email protected] and I will take care of this!

I really wanted to like twisted dough. After seeing the ads for a while I finally decided to splurge. I ordered 8 different flavors of the 2 Oz for my husband and myself since they were having a deal buy 4 get 4 free. The flavor and texture of each one was just weird and they left a funny after taste in our mouths. After shipping it cost a little over $50. Definitely not worth the price but at least I now know and wont wonder if I was missing out on something I may have truly enjoyed.

Hi Desiree! I am so sorry you did not like the minis you ordered! We appreciate you giving us a try and if you are up for it I would love to get you some other flavors that were not in your first order. If you email me at [email protected] and ask for DJ, I will take care of this for you.

This is HORRIBLE! It's everything you hate about protein bars (chalky, processed taste) turned into repackaged mush, increased in price from a bar, and then arrives warm. They must know there is a problem because even their website states: "Twisted Dough has a NO return, NO money back guarantee policy. This is a STRICT policy and you authorizing payment through our portal will say YOU alone are approving to try this product. Twisted Dough will not accept returns and issue refunds due to a change of mind or not liking the flavor/texture of the product."
Response from twisteddough.shopAug 25, 2026
Hi Carrie! Thanks for the feedback here. The no refund or return policy is becuase you are buying a food perishable product. This is standard across food companies to have this policy. Do you go to a Walmart, buy food and not like it and try to return say an opened ice cream or chip bag? I would hope you don't. However, as a company we put the company first and if you just emailed customer service first, we would be happy to work with you to find you a flavor you might enjoy. Fully understand maybe you had a poor first experience but if you ever want to try some other flavors you can always reach out to us at [email protected]

Only purchase if you’re willing to lose your money. They offer no money-back guarantee, and after my experience, I can understand why. The product simply wasn’t for me, and now I’m out $60 with nothing to show for it. Because of this experience, I’ll only buy from companies that offer a 100% money-back guarantee. In my opinion, companies that truly stand behind their products should be willing to back them. Lesson learned.

Hi TT! DJ here. I do remember working with you. You emailed back to me and I quote "Thank you so much you have been amazing. I will continue and always do business with you and I will leave you an amazing review you have went above and beyond on every single issue I had and I appreciate it " Sorry you had a change of mind. We got you a complete reship even though you did not order to the promo correctly.
