On April 07, 2024, I was charged a one-time $1 join fee and a USD 46.00 membership fee, totaling USD 47.00. While I understand the necessity of renewing my subscription, I am deeply troubled by the manner in which YouTube handled this process. The primary issue I wish to address is the forced registration with Howly, a platform that I had no prior knowledge of nor any intention to use. Upon attempting to renew my YouTube account, I was unexpectedly redirected to Howly's registration page and prompted to provide my personal information, including my credit card details. This came as a surprise and was completely unnecessary, and all iwanted to do ispay my bill with my new credit card and provided this information to YouTube in previous transactions. It is unacceptable for YouTube to compel its users to register with a third-party platform without providing any valid reason or explanation for doing so. Furthermore, the lack of transparency regarding the purpose of this registration raises concerns about the security and privacy of my personal information. And, I will report this to the FCC as I am deeply troubled by the possibility that my data may be shared with undisclosed vendors or companies owned by YouTube without my consent. Additionally, the requirement to pay a one-time $1 join fee for Howly's services adds insult to injury. As a loyal subscriber to YouTube, I expect a certain level of respect and consideration for my patronage. Being coerced into paying an additional fee for a service that I neither wanted nor requested is both unethical and disrespectful to your customers. I urge YouTube to reconsider its policies regarding account renewals and third-party registrations. Users should have the option to renew their subscriptions directly through YouTube's platform without being forced to register with unrelated services. Moreover, greater transparency and accountability are needed concerning the handling of users' personal information to ensure their privacy and security are adequately protected. Additionally, I would appreciate assurances that my personal information will not be shared with any third parties without my explicit consent in the future. I trust that YouTube will take the necessary steps to address these issues promptly and prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. I have exhausted all of your videos, suggestions, and ideas concerning my location. My zip code is 08008. I HAVE NOT changed my location, even though YouTube tv "says" that I have! Over the past several months i have received "Playback Error" several times in the middle of viewing. (random programs) It appears to have to do with my location...between NYand Philadelphia. I never know which location I am in, because fiddling around with it will eventually get me to where I can view again. I want to be Phila. area so that I can see the PHILLIES. Whenever I want to watch Phillies, I get a message..."to watch MLB games you must sign in blah blah...and then I am told that "you have reached your limit on changing location". I did not change my location...I would like some kind of explanation from a person because I am not satisfied with the answers I am getting from videos, etc. For $72 a month...I WANT TO SEE PHILA AREA TV!!!

"Channel Deleted" Dear Duly Appointed YouTube/Google Associate/Agent/Assign/Representative: I am & have been a user of YouTube/Google for many years with more than 1 affiliated channel. For many years, I had a hosted YouTube channel with several uploads from 2009. The channel appears to have been removed from YouTube entirely. Why/how would/could this be the case? The channel for which I inquire is/was @Xenoartist I searched today for this channel and the associated uploads from said apparently removed/deleted/deactivated channel, and again, there were absolutely no results available from the search engine within the YouTube application/web site. Is YouTube/Google in the habit of uploading channels to conserve server space? Does YouTube/Google allege that said uploads violated one or more policies of YouTube for reasons such as objectionable content, adult content, inherently inhumane subject matter, copyright infringement, or other category of policy violation? Does Google/YouTube allege that "fake blood"/"fake killing" is "real violence" and therefore objectionable for children to view? If ANY of the aforementioned is TRUE, would YouTube/Google allow these videos to be uploaded again with a newly created channel if each video was edited to contain a prefaced warning label at the beginning of each video indicating that the content may be sensitive material for some viewers and therefore for adult viewing only or the issuance of a "PG" rating so that adults with children clearly understand that they must be physically present & attendant at the time of their children viewing said re-uploaded videos with content intended for mature viewership? Alternatively, does YouTube/Google have settings available for users/content creators/uploaders to set automated parameters that prevent persons under the age of 18 from viewing material that contains artificial violence (often of a science fiction nature) directed toward tangible physical yet fictional characters made from modeling clay?
