I was scammed by a broker and stolen over a million dollars in 2021. This was my lifetime work. A small portion of which was debt, $140,000 from creditors. I borrowed money from four creditors and some from colleagues. After losing all the capital, what I got is debt. I was planning to file bankruptcy, however, an attorney said that I am not qualified to do so since my income was/is over $80,000. The only option I got was debt settlement.
