Apt AIReviews of tryapt.ai

Surprise subscription scam. Bait you with "super super personalized" thing at the end. Ask you tons of questions. OH SURPRISE YOU NEED TO PAY TO SEE YOUR REPORT BUT WE DON'T TELL YOU UP FRONT. OH YEAH IT'S A SUBSCRIPTION TOO. Classic "great" marketing that pulls you in and then just a middle finger of a product experience right at the end.

Apt AI is misleading. The test is free but not the results. You have to pay to see any of the results.

As others have noted, this is a bit of a scam site which becomes obvious when you see all the AI generated photos and complete absence of company info. You answer some questions and they ask for you to upload your resume or fill in your career experience. To access your results, you'll be forced to sign up for a monthly subscription. The real red flags to me are that there's no info at all on their site about who made this or what the company is. The company has apparently only been in existence since 2024. Very suspicious. Don't give them your money.

Overhyped. Not impressed. Everything I have laid out in terms of search requirements has been largely ignored because most of the job suggestions are irrelevant to my work experience. I have told the AI multiple times that I have no experience in certain fields, but it only returns more irrelevant postings. I regret wasting my money.

Gets you to take a 20 minute quiz then charges you for the results without disclosing that in the beginning.

Wasted my time just to have to pay for what I was doing so i didnt see my results. Horrible, no one use it, its ragebait.

I answered around 40 questions, uploaded my resume and LinkedIn, only to be told at the end that I had to pay to see my results. Nowhere was that made clear upfront. They advertise a 60-day money-back guarantee, but the fine print only applies if their technology “doesn’t work.” If you don’t find value in the product, you won’t get a refund. Additionally, the site does not clearly explain how to cancel the subscription. From other Reddit posts, it seems extremely difficult, and many people have had to contact their credit card company to dispute charges. This service feels exploitative and misleading, especially for people in difficult situations like job searching or career changes. I strongly advise others to avoid this company.

Luckily I read the fine print on there website and did a quick Google search before adding my bank info. I can't speak to the quality since I did not purchase, however, I found this conflicting info on their website to be very deceptive and wanted to help more folks be aware before purchasing. I wish I could add screenshots, but they state they have a 60 day money back garrunteed policy. However when you scroll to the faq, it clearly states they will only ever do a refund if you can prove the technology has an error code displayed. Not being satisfied, etc. Are not acceptable reasons.
