I'm still getting messages from Nelnet saying I owe money. I just read your BBB rating and your nona credited business. Now I can't access my account on my FAFSA and you have my social security on your file

THIS IS A COMPETITOR COMPLIANT. THIS IS NOT A REAL CLIENT REVIEW. TRUST PILOT REFUSES TO REMOVE FALSE REVIEWS AND TARGETS BUSINESSES TO BECOME “MEMBERS” FOR A GIANT FEE IN ORDER TO EDIT YOUR OWN PAGE. WE REFUSE TO BUY OUR RATING HERE, BUT WE DO HAVE AN A+ RATING FROM THE CONSUMER LOAN BUREAU. ENJOY YOUR DAY! :)

I'm disappointed they didn't contact me…
I'm disappointed they didn't contact me regarding where we are with the loan process. I was continuing to receive call from the debt collector. I'm still not sure where we are with the process.
Response from Trust ArrowDec 29, 2018
Hi Yvonne! If you haven’t received any communication from us, we wouldn’t have gotten this far, but it sounds like you would like an update on your account.
It can take months to resolve student loan dilemmas, and update times can vary depending on your situation, but that doesn’t mean no one is working for you.
Your account has already been moved into processing, which is a great sign! They will be glad to update you privately. Reach out to them at [email protected] to request an update on your account progress and they’ll be glad to assist you. —-
In addition, we’d like to mention that Trust Pilots format encourages people like yourself to leave negative reviews, in order to coax a huge membership fee out of us, so that we can better control which reviews appear publicly. We do not subscribe to this mafia style of doing business, where we need to pay for a highly graded rating. Our A+ rating comes from the Consumer Loan Bureau - not the latest version of “yelp”. For real connection and assistance please contact us directly, as using this format only helps to monetize Trust Pilot and support poor practices of actual resolution.

Intentional Misrepresentation
I was misinformed about the nature of this company. I was never told that the money I was told to pay was NOT going directly to my student loan! I just found out that the money that is being taken out of my paycheck every week is Trustpilot's FEE! That amount could have been going to my student loan to bring the amount in arrears back up to date!! I'm very unhappy with this arrangement. I could have spoken directly to the Student Loan commission and made arrangements!
Response from Trust ArrowDec 16, 2018
Hi Detrick, not to worry! You’ve got a little misinformation, but we’re here to help make some sense out of this confusing situation.
Firstly you should know all our calls are recorded, and your call has been reviewed. After listening to the call between your representative and yourself, we can assure you that they did not say or imply such a thing. We are in a highly regulated industry, and our employees are career service people, dedicated to helping clients save hard earned money.
That being said, it’s easy to get confused these days with the amount of misinformation out there. Here’s why people normally choose our service.
People who benefit from government sponsored student loan debt relief programs use a service like ours because we are FAST, and we guarantee enrollment.
Without using a fast track service to enroll, an average person would take 6-9 months to complete most of the work we can do within a few weeks. Applications (which are “free”) and enrollment are different, and each is more complex and strict than you’d expect.
If you don’t have time to wait to start saving on your student loans, using a service guarantees you’ll experience savings and benefits (like improved credit etc) very quickly, and with no effort on your part. The alternative is weeks and months of weaving through an impossibly complex process and a lot of potential to do it incorrectly, which can be financially devastating.
Think of about the reasons you’d hire a tax accountant to handle complex financial dealings, or a dentist to pull a tooth. Sure, you could use some string and a door handle “for free”, but paying a professional is a lot less painful!
Now for the good news! You’re with one of the good guys, and made a smart choice! Your account has been moved up to the processing stage, that is a good sign! 77 Elite is a popular legal document processor, so your account is in good hands at this stage.
While we can’t disclose private account details publicly, please reach out for additional help. Please reach out to [email protected] and they will be happy to assist you with an update on your account.

I am reading the reviews which there…
I am reading the reviews which there are, apparently, more bad reviews than good and it seems that, with all of them, they give a standard reply to contact them and they will be happy to resolve it...even though there are several reviews complaining about lack of communication and not being able to reach anyone.

Hi again Ian, our response to your last review was rather personalized, and as we stated, we clearly cannot discuss personal account information publicly.
We invite you to reach out to us using any of the contact information provided, or which you may find again at www.77elite.com, who is currently managing the progress of your account.
Please connect with them directly (as this is not a communication forum) to answer anything you need about your account, which is active and shows progress. 😊

Acts like a SCAM company
This seems like a scam. The payments are NOT based on income level. I tried to tell you that I already spoke with the US Dept of EDU and even emailed you a copy of the form that I had sent to them. I explained my dire situation with my husband's job loss and medical condition, but I was still charged over $200 for 2 months of your NOT getting my student loans out of default. I spoke directly with US Dept to get my loans out of default and prevent garnishment after paying you to do that. You wouldn't email or mail the form I needed to stop the automatic draft from my account and the person "assigned to my account" was never available when I called. Not acceptable. As far as my opinion, you owe me my money back.

I applied for a loan forgiveness
I applied for a loan forgiveness. I was told one would take place with a monthly fee. Okay, because it sound so good, I allowed the fee to be taken from my bank account monthly.
I was told I would not have to re-pay the loan. Not true. As of January 2019, I am responsible to pay FedLoan a monthly fee to avoid employment wage garnish and with another company Navient, I have to re-apply for IBR to avoid the same.
I contacted 77 Elite, company of which misled me to believe I would not have to re-pay and was informed that because my place of employ was not non-profit, I was responsible to pay accordingly.
I was more than hurt. I was almost in tears but, I remained strong and made it so the company would no longer be able to take any monies from my bank account.
What is being done is theft! It should not be allowed. I want someone besides myself to know the truth about the matter. The whole story should be told in the beginning not half the story. If the whole story were told, the company would not have customers.

You portended that your organization…
You portended that your organization was connected to American Student Assoc lloans. You clearly are not! I’ve now connected with a legitimate company associated with ASA and on track where I need to be. I have filed complaints against you with not only Better Business Bureau for your area, Consumer Financial and the Attorney General for my state. I’ve also included that document/form where you make acthreat if one was to contact their bank. You are a scam and a fraud! I want my money returned of $299.00 and $179.00.
