Months of Delays, Contradictory Instructions, and No Completed Report
I began my credential evaluation with TruMerit in April 2026 for admission to a Doctor of Nursing Practice program. I am a British-trained nurse who has been licensed and practicing in the United States for many years. The process has been unbelievably difficult. I arranged for official documents from my universities to be sent directly to TruMerit as instructed. However, TruMerit kept introducing new requirements after receiving and accepting the documents I had already requested. I was eventually invited to pay an additional fee to expedite the report, which reasonably suggested that my evaluation was approaching completion. After I declined, I was subsequently informed that previously accepted electronic documents were insufficient and that duplicate documents now had to be sent by post directly from the United Kingdom. TruMerit has never satisfactorily explained why it initially accepted the documents, why it did not identify this requirement earlier, or why it offered expedited processing while supposedly mandatory documentation remained outstanding. After months of contradictory instructions and repeated requests, I still have not received the evaluation I paid for. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend TruMerit.
