Scathing Airbnb Review (Policy-Safe) This booking was managed by TripForth, and the experience was unacceptable. Our group of 20 was scheduled to stay during the severe winter storm in Virginia in late January, when the state had declared a state of emergency and roads were widely reported as impassable. For safety reasons, we did not attempt the trip and never stepped foot in the property. Despite these extraordinary circumstances, TripForth refused to issue a refund or even offer a credit toward a future stay. As a result, we lost over $2,000 for two nights at a house we could not safely reach. While weather is uncontrollable, management’s response was entirely within their control—and they chose to show zero flexibility, empathy, or consideration for guest safety. For a large family group, this was an extremely costly and frustrating experience. I strongly caution future guests: if anything goes wrong, do not expect reasonable communication or accommodation from this management company.
