Tripalink management gave a criminal access to my son's apartment, who then stole from and threatened him. We won a judgement against them in LA Superior Court and they continue to ignore our request for the payment owed. They are greedy, dangerous and do not abide by the law.

Incompetent thieving and lazy
Over 3 years with Tripalink. The first lease they botched 3 times, the second lease they botched twice, I had to comb through to double check their work and wait for them to make corrections before signing. Both times the apartment was filthy upon move in with active MASSIVE ant infestations and dead bugs everywhere, when I complained it wasn't clean they scoffed at me and made out like I was crazy and overly demanding. So I had to get on my hands and knees to clean upon move in. On move out they charged for normal wear and tear like chipped paint, even though by law they are supposed to paint between tenants (they do not), $400 charge for flaking paint! They keep changing their email, text, property managers, and office locations very frequently which causes massive confusion. They botched my lease renewal so I had to move to a new apartment with very little notice. One of their employees is so rude that every time I call about an issue he gets in a screaming argument with me (Andrew I think?) The second apartment had the fridge shelving completely destroyed upon move in and they didn't bother to fix it, so I could barely use the fridge the entire time. The office staff are so nasty and dismissive, and they nickel and dime you for everything, they break the law to steal money from you. Evil company full of incompetent people. Never trust them with anything and assume they will find a way to steal your security deposit.

DO NOT RENT 5809 Hobart St
DO NOT rent 5809 Hobart St, Pittsburgh, PA, 15217.
During my lease, there were already a lot of problems with the apartment. Soon after I moved in, the bedroom blinds fell down and hit my face, which caused bruising. My bedroom ceiling also leaked repeatedly during my stay. In the winter, the radiator made loud pounding noises at night and disturbed my sleep. These were real living issues, not just small complaints.
The utility information was also not clear. The website made it seem like electricity and gas were covered, but I later found out there was actually a cap. That was not clearly explained upfront, so the cost of living there was different from what I expected.
The worst part came after I moved out. They sent me a long list of charges that honestly felt unreasonable. They charged me for light bulb replacement and oven light replacement. I do not understand why light bulbs are being treated like tenant damage instead of basic maintenance. I also never used the oven during my lease, so I had no idea the oven light was not working. They charged me for sofa damage, but the sofa already had scratches when I moved in. They never replaced it before my lease started, so I do not think it is fair to charge me now for normal wear on old furniture. They also charged me $500 for kitchen wall damage because of a small stain on the kitchen wall/wallpaper from air fryer heat. I understand there was a mark, but $500 for that seems extremely high, especially without a clear repair breakdown. On top of that, they charged $353 for move-out cleaning. That is a lot of money, and I asked for an itemized list, receipts/invoices, and photos showing what cleaning was done.
The overall experience is just terrible.

Awful experience and unprofessional staff
I lived in one of their apartments in Seattle for three years, and they charged over $1000 for stuff like "dry wall repair", "hook removal", and even an 85 dollar "cleaning fee", which is clearly against the RCW. Connecting to a real team member to answer a question is almost impossible, starting from the minute you sign the lease. Instead, they hired third-party phone answerers who were unfamiliar with their properties, so they never provided any assistance.

Worst ever property management company
Worst ever property management company, it was a mess when we moved in, a lot of appliances and furniture were damaged, and left unrepaired. Super slow maintenance responses, we had to keep calling them in order to get things fixed. Ceiling leaks when it rains. No mailbox keys were given to us at all for a year. Promised weekly cleaning service and only got it for like two months, then no cleaning after that. When we moved out, we got charged a third of the security deposit, which is a joke, cus it had all the damages when we moved in.

Student apartment leasing
My daughter has been living for a year in an apartment in LA owned by Tripalink to pursue her education in UCLA.
Tripalink delivers an extremely poor customer service. They never answered maintenance requests. They never delivered the cleaning of the apartment as they were engaged to as per the contract. The lease is now over. They never answered the lease termination request. I have been waiting for more than a month now to know about the reimbursement of the deposit. I still have nothing. I do strongly recommend to stay away from this company.

Tripalink Promises Safety, Then Disappears When You Need It
This is my 2nd review (first one is from ~10 months ago under Bee Bee when I was looking at touring their apartments, it was all bad since then. Feel free to read that review. I decided to give them a chance despite their unprofessionalism and unorganizedness and it quite literally ruined my mental health completely. I did not expect any of this when I moved in.)
I was drawn to Tripalink for the affordable rent and thought I’d found a great deal + modern units. I genuinely expected ATLEAST an okay experience.
As my lease is now ending here is my experience from someone who rented with Tripalink for the first time.
First, I spent the majority of my lease avoiding my own apartment. I would regularly drive an hour just to stay at a friend’s place as mine became hell for me. I did not feel comfortable or safe in my own home with a neighbor who was obnoxiously being loud, which I ignored for a couple months until I no longer could because it was that loud, then it turned into harassment and stalking outside of the shared building.
For over seven months, I raised this concern. I’d wait weeks or months, for a reply. When they responded, nothing ever got resolved. My last email, which was sent over a month ago, explained how the issue had gotten progressively concerningly worse because of their continued failure to take ANY action. I haven’t seen a response for a month.
Meanwhile, everyday I get texts and emails about discounts for lease renewal or social events. That alone speaks volumes about where Tripalink’s priorities really are: keeping up their appearances over meaningful action to keep their residents SAFE and COMFORTABLE in their own home.
Tripalink claims to provide professional support and safe housing. But when you actually need help, they disappear. I followed every protocol, was patient, documented everything and still got nowhere. It often felt like they didn’t even follow or perhaps even read their own lease agreement...
I didn’t choose to move out because I wanted to. I moved out because I genuinely have no choice. If you're considering living here, ask yourself how much your safety and peace of mind are worth. Because with Tripalink, the low price came at a much higher cost.
After being ignored and dismissed for so long, my anger faded into something heavier. Tripalink doesn’t care about their residents; they just want your money. Whatever problems arise are yours to handle, even if they control all the resources and break promises laid out in the lease. Honestly, I’d rather deal with the worst management company in the worst neighborhood than live under Tripalink’s neglect.

Tripalink is the worst apartment I’ve…
Tripalink is the worst apartment I’ve ever rented. The staff are extremely irresponsible, the facilities are terrible, and the actual living experience after signing the contract is completely different from what was promised. Compared to other places my friends have rented, the value for money is very poor. As soon as my lease ends, I’m moving out of this disgusting place immediately.
