Great idea, unsatisfied outcome. Treecard feels useful, but I’m always skeptical about apps like these. I treated this as the “play for real money games” I think the app is just there so people can feel good about themselves and act like they can make a difference. And they probably could if there was more work out into it. There are many bugs that come up daily. My account got lost around a year ago and I had to restart. I was pissed but I eventually got back to my old progress. There was little to no help when I tried to get my account back. Also, when you order things, it’s very hard to track or get information on the package. I have ordered two things from Treecard and they arrived but I constantly thought I got scammed. Many other people didn’t have good outcomes with ordering packages either. The idea of planting trees in the world is great and is probably the reason I haven’t deleted the app yet but I’m not too sure I am making that much of a difference. Still a great idea, but unsustainable as of right now.

Amazing idea that never happened. :( When a company makes big promises and doesn’t fulfill them 😓. i am honestly sad. i was on the waiting list for years hoping one day i could get the wooden credit card and work everyday to conserve nature. i don’t know if they sold the company or whatever but i just found out there’s never going to be a treecard now i don’t even know why its called that, i guess its like a fitness app now. But based on the reviews it doesn’t look like that’s working. Sad environmentalist wishing everything wasn’t always greenwashing. 2-stars because I was still inspired but just no follow thru.

It's all great EXCEPT they will ban you, literally for no reason. And they refuse to tell you why. Out of the blue, you log in one day to your smartphone app. The app won't get past the login screen. You do your SMS verification. You log in. It just spins and spins and spin and spins. I asked them why my account was closed. I, and many others, keep getting the same, trite, regurgitated, copy-and-paste response of: Hi! 👋 Johanna here from Treecard support 🌳 Thank you for your patience while we reviewed your account. The reason you are seeing a blank screen is that we are no longer able to offer an account to you. After careful consideration, we regret to inform you that we will not be able to move forward with your Treecard account. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your interest in Treecard. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions. Email 2: We really are sorry that we are unable to move forward with your Treeard account. We hope you can appreciate that for security reasons we simply aren’t allowed to share the reasons why we could not keep your account open. Thanks so much for your interest in Treecard. I have never in all my life gotten an account closed. My credit score is over 740. I do not use a VPN. There is zero reason I should have gotten my account closed. Do some Reddit searches. I am not the only one this has happened to. Out of the blue ban. I had money topped off in the account, I didn't use a VPN or go out of country. I just don't get it, why was I banned? There's zero reason, and they refuse to tell me. I got my money back. They seem to be operating with integrity. But apparently their "security" in their app is extremely bugged. It's super saddening to not be able to use this amazing little card and app and things. All because "security" they ban you, forever. I really hope they change and I can somehow open an account again.
