Our 13 year old yellow lab was starting to lose control of her back legs and unable to go up and down steps without slipping backwards. We were wondering if we were close to losing her. I ordered Tratez with caution on what would it do. Two weeks into her getting two chews per day we noticed a much stronger stance and stride when she walked. She wasn’t limping on her back legs anymore. She wasn’t hesitating at the bottom of the stairs, wondering if she could make it, she was going right up and down. She doesn’t have the look of defeat in her face anymore. I would recommend this to anyone with an older dog. But, I wouldn’t wait until you see the signs of trouble. I would start a few years earlier to help them before issues start.

Make sure you take the time to let them work! I have two dogs on them , it took two batches to see the difference! Don’t give up!

Good results!
Took a while, but after taking Traetz for 3 months my piti/lab mix no longer hobbles. Her back leg/hip joint move freely and without limping. Can't ask for better results than that.

Old English Sheepdog

My experience has been 100% great for me and my dog.. I would recommend this great product for any parent that has a doggy who is scratching their life away..this product really worked from the 1st day I started giving it to my dog. With a vet visit getting a steroid shot and the skin treatment my dogs hot spots started to heal. I thought I was good and stopped the skin care after it ran out. I'm started up again and keeping her on the skin care chews.

THIS WORKS!!!!!!
We took in a rescue coondog- underfed- but otherwise healthy. 10 months in he came down with an infection- 106 fevers/seizures/ tick tests negative- raccoon fever negative- they think snake? They hit him with everything to save him- all those antibiotics/steroids ruined his gut. Yeast began to show up- he chewed his tail up bloody 3x- wore a cone- we couldn't find any fixes- bathed him 2-3x a week letting it sit for 15 minutes- vets just wanted to give him apoquel, cytopoint, hydrolyzed food- or 7 supplements they determined would help him by putting the bottle in a pocket they placed on a blanket around him! Crazy!!!! I worked in pharmaceuticals- chemistry major- I KNEW these options would not hit the root. Tried Dog is Human- 5 months- no change. Found these and I agreed with the logic- made sense! Now- I have not slept more than 2 hours at a time to keep him from getting at any areas aggravating him- weary and he was miserable. When the package arrived- our dog was going crazy to get into it! Doubly sealed packaging- but a coon dog has keen smelling senses! We gave him his first dose last week and spread it out throughout the day. We are on day 8- I can leave the room and he isn't gnawing at his skin!!! He still will scratch maybe once every 1/2 hour- but not for more than 2-3 seconds- used to be you had to hold him to stop him. I can walk him 2-3 miles and not have him go for his tail anytime I stop to talk to someone- he is even playing again with our other dog!!! It has been a long 2 years- we moved states - so vets were the same in both- not hitting the cause- only treating symptoms- I feel his gut is truly being healed!!! Sorry this is so long- but it's been a long road!!! Will update in 3 months!!

What you described is something we hear way too often… dog parents doing everything right, trying every option the vets throw at them apoquel, cytopoint, constant bathing, multiple supplements and still feeling like you’re just chasing symptoms instead of actually fixing anything.
That gut piece you called out? That’s exactly it.
When the gut gets thrown off (especially after heavy antibiotics + steroids), it can spiral into things like yeast, itching, obsessive chewing… and it becomes this nonstop cycle that’s brutal for both you and your dog.
And the fact that you’ve gone from:
→ not sleeping more than 2 hours
→ constant monitoring
→ holding him to stop the chewing
to now being able to leave the room, go on walks, and see him playing again…
