Well Buddy is my 3rd Jack Russell. I had Jackie who was my first dog ever. She passed away 3 years ago this past October. I had breedered her when she was 4 and she had a total of 8 beautiful puppies. My husband wanted to keep a male puppy that we called Milo. He followed his mother everywhere so he was easy to potty train but so was Jackie. However, Buddy is giving me a really hard time. I thought he was a little older than 8 weeks when we drove 6 hours to get him but he was 17 weeks old. So I thought this may have been the problem but once we got him in the car my husband said Connie look at him he is so thin, his spine and ribs were very noticeable. It was so dark I could not see him but I just saw 2 male dogs running in and out of a swinging dog door and a really bad smell. The 2 puppies were sleeping in the closed in side laying in poop and pee and eating their feces. Then I saw the mother and her breast were almost touching the ground. She was still feeding the puppies. It took me 2 days to get Buddy to drink water. I felt bad for the puppy that was left behind. I am sorry I got way off track. Why I feel you can help me with Buddy is because of your own personal problems you had overcome with your Jack Russell.

Nancy your email's have been a positive change in bubba's life.What I mean by that is, You've given me some great tools to help with bubba's behavior.Im not saying he's a bad puppy,but as he grows who want's a 60-80 lbs. Bulldog jumping,and biting on them.Your technic that has helped me out the most,is when he jumps and nips he is just playing so it didn't fell right to scolded him for being a active playful puppy.Not given him my attention at that time is really working great.Thank you so much for your time .I don't mean to be short In thanking you ,but bubba's awake and very demanding,LOL.
