The memos, the 30-day sales challenge. On both. I've known of them for a while, Chris and Taylor know their stuff in marketing, and sales. Also, the community they've managed to bring together is maybe the best thing they've done. Being surrounded by serious business people, people actually doing something, and something the world needs is the most important thing you can do. As they say, you are the average of the 5 people you hang around with most.

For the past 6 months or so I have been a member of Traffic and Funnels. I remember at first I found it refreshing because Taylor and Chris teach a lot about sales and hold nothing back. During September I was part of their double your sales challenge and that was a nice experience also as I got to see how other sales professionals are working their magic and made some nice friends along the way. At the moment I have become part of their Sales Mentor training and as I just got started I still have to go through the trainings but it looks interesting. If you are a sales professional and look to sharpen your skills then Traffic and Funnels might be a nice place to start.

Sometimes things just click. That's the experience I had working with Taylor Welch and Chris Evans and their team at Traffic and Funnels. Their never-take-yourself-too-seriously, but always-tell-it-exactly-as-it-is style resonated with me from the day I discovered their ads on Facebook and later their videos and podcasts on YouTube. My experience with Chris and Taylor and team is through their training offers for anyone who has a dream to run a profitable online business. I especially like their heavy focus on building the foundational mind-set, ethical principles and non-salesy skills. I have bought several of their low-priced offerings, including the monthly Sales Mentor program that was phenomenal and something I would like to revisit after taking Client Kit. (which I will be taking soon.) Just one of many concepts that really changed my perspective on sales during the Sales Mentor training was the idea of treating the client like a doctor might... diagnosing the problem, identifying the treatment plan needed and providing your offer only from the completely non-needy place where the only consideration was what was best for the client. And the eye-opening realization that one of the things that was best for the client was paying a fair, often premium price for something that will be valuable to him and transform his life. The concept that it is human nature to value and take action only on those things that we have to work for, that are not given to us. That we have to pay for. All that being said, Traffic and Funnels is not for everyone. Taylor and Chris are a personality brand that provides a definite, unique take on the internet business world. Before purchasing, make sure you get to know the brand, which is easy as their available material is voluminous and omnipresent on all platforms. Also, their program requires work. Sounds obvious, but Traffic and Funnels is very upfront about how the results depend on you and how much work you are willing to put in. But the results are there for the taking. Tons of testimonials available on the site and the completely transparent Monthly Memos show that you can determine your own level of success and income with the skills Traffic and Funnels will teach you. At the beginning of this 30 Day Sales Mentor Challenge, I knew NOTHING about sales calls. Now I feel like I've got a solid gameplan to tackle a sales call, and the right mindset to do what's best for the client, and what's best for me. :-)
