My experience with Tradewheel has been bad
My experience with Tradewheel has been extremely disappointing. Almost all inquiries I received appeared to be either automated bots or fake leads. Many contacts sent messages expressing strong interest in my products, but after I replied, I never received any further response. In many cases, the messages seemed generic and likely automated. What was even more concerning was that some of the leads that did respond turned out to be scams. Several contacts, primarily claiming to represent companies involved in African government or institutional tenders, eventually requested various registration fees, tender participation fees, approval fees, or other upfront payments in order to proceed. None of these opportunities appeared credible, and they never resulted in legitimate business. Another issue is the way Tradewheel appears to handle these inquiries. Shortly after receiving what looked like a new buyer inquiry, I would often receive a WhatsApp message from a Tradewheel representative emphasizing how important it was that I respond immediately to that specific lead. Afterward, I was frequently offered a discounted or "special" membership package. This created the impression that the purpose of the inquiry was not necessarily to connect me with a genuine buyer, but rather to encourage me to re-engage with the platform and purchase additional services. After spending significant time responding to inquiries, I have yet to encounter a verified, serious buyer through the platform. Based on my experience, I would advise suppliers to exercise extreme caution, thoroughly verify every lead, and be especially wary of anyone requesting fees or payments related to tenders, registrations, approvals, or procurement processes. Overall rating: 1/5 Poor lead quality, numerous fake inquiries, and multiple suspected scam attempts.
